If so its wheel fade, the wheels safe guard from overheating. Basic Equivelant to limp mode for you wheel Your options are turn down ffb strengths and vibration and/or Turn the fan on to always on so it keeps the wheel cooler to delay this from happing. IIRC it was mode button and manteo switch on the tx with 458 wheel to enable this.
This was one of the main reasons I wanted to get rid of my tx wheel. The wheel fade is absolutely atrocious and turns your 4 nm wheel to a very weak 1 or 2 nm wheel.
@EpicEvan777
Did they fixed the “left pulling bug” for the Thrustmaster TX wheel? Or you can still feel that something wrong with that wheel and forza! Your vibration problem might come from the overheating of the wheel! Did the fan get to 100% before it happens? and try to press the home button when it happens and go back to the see if it changes something. May be that will reset the problem as for the “Left pulling bug”
No they have not fixed the “left pulling bug” for the TX. My fan is always forced on for my TX. If the wheel starts pulling to the left, I pause the game, turn off the wheel and turn it back on. That seems to fix it. As for the wheel fade, for some reason, I only experience this on Forza, no other game.
It might be as I stated in my last post Even, the FFB Scale may need to be lowered on the xbox version of the game; as you lack been able to adjust the wheels master gain through the Thrustmaster software on the PC. I do not run my T300 at 100% Master gain on the PC, I tend to run at 50%. FM7 I currently have it at 65% in the Thrustmaster software,. If You (or anyone) can try 65% FFB scale on your TX wheels, that would be of great help. Obviously I can only test the effects on a G920, the motor isnt as strong as the brushless one in the TX.
Add me to the list of people who are finding that the FFB feels better on the full game…
Playing on PC with Logitech G920 I haven’t even ventured into the advanced settings for the controller yet… That can wait until I have had some kip…
I have just checked the settings are all at the Default Values and not the ones that were “established” with the Demo but it’s as different as Chalk and Cheese…
I have posted several times to people saying that this may be just an old Demo from E3 and it may not have been updated to the newest version of FFB. Another possibility as well, what system are you on that you think is improved…I ask as I remember Blue saying one of the FFB settings on the PC Demo was not working properly and on the Xbox version it worked. They may have fixed that issue on the PC and if so it will not improve the Xbox version as that one was not broke in the demo
Does anybody have any good settings for the Fanatec Forza Motorsport CSR? I haven’t had the time to really run through the demo with it, I’ve been too busy getting all of my coursework up to next week done so I can play unhindered on launch. Settings that resemble FM4 would be nice, actually. I would just like to spend time actually driving and not my first few hours tweaking wheel settings.
Worm,
I agree with you totally!
I am a mid leaderboard at best so not a big deal for me but for a lot of people this is a BIG deal breaker.
I am just mind blown that something as core as the leaderboard would be slashed!
I thought I saw an option to veiw leaderboards after my first race in the career, not sure if it the actual LB or not ad I didn’t check, but I was very surprised when I couldn’t find any leaderboards from the main menu.
Xbox One here with a Thrustmaster TX on the full version.
Way better than Forza 6 but some stuff his strange…
I only feel the FFB on the left curbs (left wheel on the curbs). The right wheel on the curbs I practically don’t feel anything in the FFB… Am I the only one with this issue…?
Car bumping is intermittent in the FFB, sometimes I feel a hard vibration in the FFB when I hit a car or I get hit, sometimes nothing at all!
Road feeling is almost not present, even on wet track with a lot of water.
If you don’t have these issue with the TX on Xbox One please post your FFB settings.
Played the full game yesterday, and for some reason I found FFB to be worse than the DEMO.
I managed to get a good solid feel from the wheel, and catching the car in a slide is not a problem, but I can’t feel the ground and the weight of the car at all, also the underster.
So no, the FFB is still bad in early access, hopefully we will get a patch on 3rd october when the game release.
Also found that I can drive the car faster from the external view than the driver o cockpit, mainly because the FOV is set to far away, the objects are too small in the distance.
Another problem I found with the full game was the performance in compare with the smooth experince in the demo I had some microstutters =((
So for now not very impressed with the early access version of the game =(
