Trial - s2 hypercars in the wet.Good luck everyone
( Don Joewon Song v2 tune for Senna works quite well in the wet )

This trial was brutal. The AI seemed a bit too aggressive seeing we just had this recently. I got booted through the air from behind by one lol. We won…but wow. I used the Noble with tune by nalak…better than some of his others and great for the first turn in the first race that sets the tone for the rest of it. If you can avoid the renegade team mates.

Are his tunes available on fh4? Maybe I searched wrong.

Trial took two attempts.

First we were beaten twice. Awful. Infighting and desync, ai ran away up front

Second 2-1. Shame about the clown with his mic on but better. Team drove to win

Dislike those sprints, but especially in the wet but especially in s2. Swear we did the same not too long ago.

Everything else was fine.

Did all the races this week, A class championships are pretty balanced and relaxed.

Trial was just once and done, it’s practically identical to the one we had a month ago, except the 1st race is now wet too. I pretty much breezed through the races and the team managed enough points to win the 1st and last race.

The weekly challenge was fun and perfect for minis since many of them do very well on roads and dirt. I tuned an A class that goes round the hairpins of Ambleside Sprint in the rain and handles well in Ambleside Scramble. Then it easily 3 stars the Lakeshore Speedzone.

I picked previously tuned cars and changed class or updated them for the championships and got the job done.

Senna and LaFerrari seems to be the most popular among players I’ve seen in Trial, so I went and updated my Senna for wet roads. Through testing, rally tires offers the best grip for Senna while race still works on the wet road and is a bit faster but needs more careful control. Rally tires is still the most ideal.

Nice driving Constin! You make it look so easy. I practiced in Winter and I think the roads were even more slick in Spring.

The Hoonigan for the games reward is very rare. Getting all the stars in skill streak story is the only other way to get a one owner.

I agree, this trial is more slippery than winter road races.

Thanks for the compliment, I’m just somewhere above average, and it doesn’t take much to get there. If I can give any advice at all, it’s everybody can steer, maintain a good habit of braking early and throttle finesse.

Throw the idea of late braking giving an advantage out the window, upgraded brakes gives you that advantage automatically, always brake early or ease off throttle for better turning. Anytime the turn isn’t smooth, I’m slower.

Throttle control is harder on the controller since it’s easier to go nothing or all the way, so what I do is tune a lot of oversteer for smooth turning when releasing the throttle, and enough grip to floor it mid turn. That’s generally how to drive my tunes. Throttle control is still necessary when understeering in a turn, so being able to half throttle or alternatively tapping by depressing and releasing throttle to adjust helps.

Boy hardly ever see s1 rally monsters at Mudkickers.

What a disaster, super force field on drivatars and people driving drag setups …
First try and in second lefthander, while trying to pass drivatar for second place, I get shot backwards into the forest … 4th and best placed player … Second race a win for me but team … just no, quit third race, as it was already 0:2
Second try and another 4th in first, some very bad driving from me, not much of a difference for team 0:1
Second race another win and one other player coming in 2nd, rest … guarding back end, points show a big loss … but we win 1:1
Last race and I think drivatars got lost, as team brought a solid victory 2:1 … yay done
Car used - Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster, same tune as previous trial.

PGG and Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evo worked just fine, we were underdogs with 1 played down and more not tuned cars, but …3:1

Finished only 2 championships so far, used Ferrari 575M Maranello and Maserati Gran Turismo S

Only one championship and few daylies to go.
