I’ll share my Manta on Wednesday but Atelieze’s is still fantastic and obviously already available, will be easier to pick up and drive straight away for M and MC too.

A good portion of the downgraded cars here are basically the same, swapping that 300hp 1.6L rally engine in which is pretty weak so they all end up feeling identically :man_shrugging: to drive, no surprise none of the top cars are using it.

Team destroyed in first trial event, so much so 3 dropped out and we still lost.

Had a player able to score enough points in the next 2 for us to win. Phew.

Used the scooby with an a800 tune from here on it anyway

Anyone else had the treasure hunt completed without doing anything as mine was orange when spring started all I had to do was hit the chest

Yes, I’ve had the same.

Don’t miss it… It’s been uncommon for a HTF car to be a SC reward. It is this week.

My trial run was fairly standard: 2 decent teammates (although both had late braking corner bomb habits) and 3 passengers.

1st race was nice once I got clear and the three of us carried the win. 2nd race I got out early and blocked like mad. Got 5 of us over the line before the drivatars despite everyone smacking me out of place as I let them through…

Retro supercar championship was straight forward with decent driving around bar the one ramjammer (who i accidentally knocked off the bridge at the start of the first race).

Porsche race was much the same as the trial but with some obvious attempts at ramming folk from the passengers. The 23 GT3 R was definitely popular with the passengers.

Not sure how many of us out there are still bothering to do this grind every week. I know @SpirantCrayon22 said something about a house move a few weeks ago; I hope that’s going well for them. The first race of my Trial was one of the biggest clusterfudges I’ve ever seen in this game. Well no, it wasn’t a “race” so much as an extended game of bumper cars, all while half the AI field drove merrily away from us. The second race was only marginally better in that it was long enough for the chaos to eventually clear out and a few of us to hunt down most of the AI. Then the gods of Forza took pity on me in the third race and had me start 7th, so I was able to blow past the AI and our team wound up sweeping them.

I thought that daily Eliminator win task might be a pain, but it wound up being pretty funny instead. I challenged another level 1 car in my starter, and the end point was high up on the volcano…which neither of us could directly climb in our cars. They had a slight head start, but as we both struggled to creep sideways along the mountain face I pulled ahead, and finally I made it to the road up and had to go a ways in the opposite direction until it looped back. It was this slow-motion dramatic moment.

I just had a really bizarre/funny experience while running a Tour for the daily task. It was the S2 Anything Goes one, and it immediately became apparent that half of my team couldn’t handle the cars they chose. Meanwhile I went with the cheat code that is the FXX-K Evo and demolished both the AI and my own team. We win at Estadio, lose on the second sprint race when half my team finished way off the back, and start Bahía de Plano…and the entire AI team vanishes in front of us as soon as the race starts. Three laps, completely unopposed. Maybe the game took pity on us or something.

Why do you call that car a cheat code ? I personally don’t like it anyway but each to his own. Cheat codes are something far worse that haunt the rivals lists but will never leave us as the devs have given up on that by now.

On my own side, went with what should’ve been an S1 CC race for that time of day that turned into a B class CC with the same tracks, so that was weird. The team won all 3 races though (I a lowly 4th in all 3) so it was all good in the end, so happy days as I dread The Tour more than anything because of the random idiots. Actually no - strike that. The non custom Open events where in your head you decide what you’d like to race and pick a car but have no choice at what gets thrown at you (unlike the Custom Opens - why not use the same system for both? ) then have to scrabble about to find a car because they don’t put them in any order whatsoever. That’s the dreaded 30 seconds of playlist that I detest.

Why not at least put them in Manufacturer order so if you have one in mind you can get there and choose quickly ?

It has insane acceleration and grip even in stock form, and it’s one of my go-to choices for things like tricky speed zones. At the very least I was running circles around the rest of my team.

Yeah the tour did seem to have a particular plentitude of “specimens” tonight, resulting in passing thoughts of racing godhood…

S1 cover cars on festival, plaza and copper canyon.

Should be simple but no: here are two power tunes with no brakes, someone who literally can’t keep a stock R8 in a straight line, a high prestige driver who can barely beat tour ai and one other competatant driver who left in disgust/rage after I beat him in the first race.

On the other hand the E-ray was its usual fun drive and the only disappointment was not DNFing everyone on copper canyon.

yes, moved out - bloody hard work

I’ve more or less stopped, though, just too many other things to do

all I have left in the game is the last 200 stages of hide and seek (snore), some cosmetics that have never appeared (I don’t think “trick or treat” appeared this year either, did it?) and a second of three accolade-only cars to have with the preset installed (viper ae, low car, hi car)

so, with everything else, just needed to knock something on the head!
