I don’t suppose anyone knows the 3 tracks we will have to race for the team races do they? Of Course, we know Cordillera Trail is the 1st track.

I always like to know what the tracks are so I can practice the tracks in the correct cars. Gives me a better chance of me winning or just being near the front to help the win beat the AI.

Thanks

I’ll share my 968 sometime tomorrow, think I was #88 on the board with it when I set that time at the weekend.

Do bear in mind though if you use M or MC the 550, #46 356 and 914/6 should be substantially faster for you given a good build for those cars uses the 330hp Subaru engine swap which is very reliant on it’s power band, which auto spends most of it’s time away from, still a good option even in auto though as they launch like absolute rockets.

Rest of the stuff was :man_shrugging: some nice times but many of them are fairly slow off the line so you’d have more to do before being able to make use of them, given both the first 2 courses start on tarmac with the transition to dirt being a heavy braking zone + 90 degree corner you’d really rather have something that can get you there so quickly that you’ll have the best chance possible of avoiding the almost inevitable chaos.

The SMR 2: The Mayan Discovery is A800 Unlimited Buggies in game, and not S1 900 Rally monsters.

Ugh, lamped out of it on both events at the 90 turns. Sighs

And then a clown in front brake checking and using the weight of the suv to lean on my little 550.

It was S1 900 Rally Monsters back in Series 40, Autumn. Interestingly, going back to Series 40 in your playlist history, that’s been updated to show the Buggies restriction for this week. And my series progress was set to 0 when viewing the playlist list, but corrects itself when going into the series itself. Been happening since they started repeating series.

The current EventLab also doesn’t have the “SMR 2 :” in its title anymore. Wonder if it’s been tweaked for the different restriction, or if the text was just modified.

Pretty easy week on the PR stunts for the stock enthusiasts. I used the Ferrari F-something for all of them without issue.

And same for the Trial. Even if you don’t normally use stock cars the 911 Rallye is an obvious choice. Won both races in it handily.

Not bad for someone with a raging toothache….

Wasn’t planning to do the Trial full stop let alone this but thought it might help take my mind off the ache for a bit if I did something where it could be fully focused on something else.

Took me 7 attempts in total, was close to a first try but finished 1 second off on Cascada after the game started me last in both races

Won Cordillera 4 times I think but Cascada’s much more about straight line speed so the above was the closest I got until this, if I was anywhere near the leader on Cordillera coming up to the 2nd half of the course I was able to get them there, unsurprisingly at 701PI this 550’s pathetic power wise but it can still get through corners very well so was up to me to carry as much momentum as possible once I was up to a bit of speed, most people fell apart in the sections either side of going through that bit of water.

Cascada was a different story though, not many places at all to gain through better driving, but on my winning run the game made it as difficult as possible again….

Luckily there was no properly powerful cars here as they were the biggest nuisance to pass and then get enough distance from to be well out of their way.

Fun challenge but truth be told it’s always in everyone else’s hands when I do these, obviously I have to take care of my side of things and drive well but I still only have a chance when everyone fails to make the most of their vast inherent advantage.
