The voice line for last and this week are swapped. This week refers to last week’s car, last week referred to this week’s car.
So are we so lazy with these events now that we can’t even check that there’s no conflicts from two seasonal events using the same location?
(D list championship and the player created event)
I’ve been playing FH4 on a new save lately and I’ve been having a lot more fun. The cars are better, the map isn’t boring, Eliminator is more fun, and there’s always something to do. With FH5, I struggle to find something to do at all.
Replaying the same races around the same dull map gets old. The Eliminator is a broken mess. The playlist is a tedious grind. The stories have cringy characters and cringy dialogue, and for the most part, it’s all the same “point A to point B” challenges.
I hate to say it as a huge fan of the Horizon franchise, but I’m getting bored with this game.
Thanks for clearing that up. That’s just the cherry on top of the mess this series is…
Has the AI been tweaked a bit? For the dirt championship I actually had a struggle in the second and third races. The Beemers were presumably all stock rwd road tyres, I was in the Quattro, off-road things added, and they were going round corners like a formula 1 car on a perfect track, the Audi drifted far more. Used to that with Unbeatable but not so much Highly Skilled. Good to have that challenge. The street one was as easy as usual, maybe the dirt’s had a fiddle?
Quite interesting to see the current lack of interest in these weekly updates. There use to be a ton of comments. Now there’s hardly any.
Did the trial in the Wuling. The car is a rocket in a straight line but can’t steer. Meaning that I had huge break dance going into the 90 degree corner… Won the 2 races anyway. Teammates tussled but the drivatar challenge collapsed so all good.
Did the co-op dirt thing in the '97 BMW. Fun race actually. People had overpowered tunes, hard to handle but noone lost it. Lots of positions being swapped. Managed to escape the pack to win the 2nd race.
Team won the street race but personally I just can’t get a result from those races. A real mess. In road racing won the 2nd race in the Ford Wagon. It’s fast in a straight line but of course on stock tyres it was just so miserable to handle.
Did the trailblazer in the Hotwheels BTTB. Just needed to use that car once.
The Ford Super Deluxe automatically steers to the left without steering input.
Tested it with two controllers (no hardware issue on my part) and with sports & adjusted race suspension. Playing on Series X.
Not only such a mundane “exclusive” but they also messed up the port.
Pablo had it coming…
Savage. Poor guy was having a hard time keeping the back end of that Cobra in line
The D List championship cannot be completed as one of the races is in the same location as an Eventlab event - it either runs that event or a normal, non-championship event. It’s impossible to switch to the D-List event at this location.
Yes, the D List championship can’t be completed due to the Event lab event being there
Nvm
No problem on my side, try to reload the game
The D List Championship worked for me on my XB Series X yesterday here in the UK. Try the good old reboot trick!
I had no challenge there whatsoever using the 2011 Audi RS 5. So could be related to the car chosen. Yes at the start some cars flew of but I was able to catch up quite easily within a few corners or 1 kap at Mulege. So I did not notice AI changes.

I was wondering why that Event Lab race was …really…like any other race in the game.

Glad I’m not losing my mind. I thought I was already getting stick drift on a controller I bought two weeks ago. Was not a happy person.
I used the Audi Quattro for the versus championship, worked like a charm.
