Festival Playlist events and rewards Nov. 2-9 (Spring S26)

I also said he could ask them to show more info on the livestream, which they’ve also done

The full info - often wrong though - was the thing I liked for the full season. I spend 15+ hrs a day on work so one day to update my spreadheet for the next season took some pressure off.

this thread will sort out any info we don’t have, guaranteed.

Yeah sometimes you have to fineness it a little at a time. Other cars you can be heavy handed straight away and be good.

Hopefully but I preferred the full season approach even if it needed a tweak or two here and there.
The livestreams have sometimes given a bit more info than they had before but still not the full amount. Plus it’s a bit random about what they show from stream to stream.

Yea, the presenter is good about showing the car restrictions for PR stunts and seasonal championships, with the exception of the Rally Adventure info since the account doesn’t own it for some strange reason, but he never shows the restrictions for the Trial.

Yeah - they’ve started flicking screens on certain events between restrictions and rewards but not for all events. The recent ones had the Shop things as well which I normally ignore in purchasing but nice to see what’s on offer each season.

some of the info we will never have again, probably. I like a bit of mystery although I get the desire for full detail. my main thing is, they have closed a lot of loopholes that gave cheaters an advantage over other seasonal creators.

I applaud the loophole on cheaters for the creators. I just liked the fact that I could spend some off-time to set up my seasonal spreadsheet for the next few weeks and get back to my daily slog in work. It was never about tuning or liveries. Just that I could sort it out and forget about it with a few minor tweaks here and there.
I don’t do liveries and rarely throw out any tunes. Often surprised by the occasional downloads or likes on the handful that I have chucked out there.

I too enjoy having the info early and prefer a separate thread as well. :+1: Hopefully it becomes the norm…:crossed_fingers:

Sadly I fear this will get eaten up and obliterated by MM. but :crossed_fingers: that it doesn’t.
The players need to have their voices heard in all aspects of the game but the recent shutting down of FM posts seems to point the other way.
Sad because the players know what’s going on and usually offer positive fixes that they ignore over game metrics and sales figures.
Bring back the old forums when MM was on our side.

I wouldn’t worry, I think this is the sensible thing to do for regulars and newcomers. we are absolutely drowning out the current season thread within 2 days now

on topic: I did a D500 tune for every cult car other than Peels and Reliant, I’ve got a VW R32 stunt car and maybe 8-10 trial tunes ready to go.

I commend your enthusiasm but once MM posts his Spring thread, it’ll get eaten up - he don’t want no rivals.

I’m close to having all of the retro sports cars tuned for the Trial.

A handful of them won’t make the cut because I couldn’t make them handle well enough while still being competitive in the speed department.

@geistwriter I think this is a great idea and will surely keep a bit more clarity by separating seasons as well as give us all the earliest opportunity to start on next season as soon as we’re able.

Not to derail, (and I really don’t want this to come across wrong), but any chance we could also do something like this with the Rivals thread as well, since the last hundred or so posts have been about FM and not FH, much less Rivals? Too many well respected members have already commented on that thread about FM for me to suggest it without potentially sounding like a jackazz, so I’m just putting it out there…what do you guys think about making a separate FM thread for all FM related posts instead of relegating it to the Rivals thread?

Each time I log on I click on the Rivals thread, as that has captivated my attention more than any other, but since FM 8 came out, all posts are non-Rivals related. Just a thought. If the majority would prefer to leave it as is, that’s fine, I’m not about to make a big deal out of it, but I figured I’d ask.

Thoughts?

@Tredawn I believe Jezza is going to start a rivals thread in the FM section of the forums when the time is right. the FH rivals thread is just a ghost town at the moment because of FM progression, should pick up again soon

max cleaned up the thread and offered to help get us timely info when he can, so far so good

The interesting part about all of this is the amount of time spent for preparation vs the actual time spent on execution once the season rolls. It seems like it’s about an 80:20 split  but like I said, just glad to see some active interest continuing. Good idea Geist :+1:t2:
