Festival Playlist events and rewards Mar. 23-30 (Spring S18)

Hopefully some high level tuner can tell us if the Nissan Safari has as much meta potential as the International Scout.

The latter is a meta car in D, C and B in both Dirt and Cross Country.

That image of the 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo looks more real then fake…

Not surprised. This street race trial win bug has been around since it was first introduced in horizon 4.

I like the Audi tune. Tidy trial races.

For the PR, my own goto is the hoonigan RS for anything off-road. Pi is 991, not sure who’s tune it is.

Don’t know if I meet your requirement but judging by my few tests it’s not on the level of the Scout.
It’s a powerhouse with brutal acceleration but the handling isn’t there to back it up.
A800 Dirt with the LS3 or Racing V8 seems to be the best choice.
With the numerous engine swaps and body part removals there might be a not so obvious strong build hiding somewhere.
TW Discord tends to agree with me so far though.

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks Rayne.

I’m only interested in Festival Playlist cars if they’re better than what I have already got. The SUBARU BRAT is a good example, that thing is my new meta choice in B on Mixed Surface and Cross Country. The Scout is still my go-to in C and D.

The Brat feels better.
With stock tires, front & rear aero you can squeeze tons of power in the Safari but I don’t like how it feels.
No comparison to the stability of the Scout.

The BRAT for me has a similar balance to the Scout, or at the very least one where the extra grunt of the Turbo Rally engine offsets the slightly reduced handling capability.

In B I’m able to get near identical times with both cars. The only thing I’ve found that’s faster is the Datsun 510, but the build that does that has horrible top speed so it’s only good for Scrambles.

Happy Thursday to all you Throttle Jockeys! Weekly tunes are below. Thank you in advance for your downloads and feedback both good and bad. Enjoy the tunes and good luck!

Festival Playlist Tunes Mar. 23-30 (Spring S18)

Trial Uno Dos Tres Quattro
Audi Quattro Share Code: 659-294-419
Very quick and agile trial tune. There is heavy traffic and erratic driving throughout this trial. This car is highly maneuverable and has excellent acceleration. If you can avoid the chaos. This tune is a winner.

FORZAThon Hoonitruck

The only thing this truck hauls is @ss. Load this up to dominate Vulcan Sprint.

Eventlab AT Creekside Crossing
Hoonigan RS200 Share Code: 876-811-115

Danger Sign Mountain Top

The Murder tune is out again. Easily flying to over 2,200ft. Jump to the left as you are coming off the ramp.

Speed Trap San De Las Minas
Jesko Share Code: 183-064-856
Murder tune killing this speed trap. Approach from the east for an east one and done.

This car gets it done and you get max perk earnings! What’s not to like?

Seasonal Championship Monster Dash
#2 Audi Sport Share Code: 139-531-123
Have you raced your new Audi yet? Here is a tune just for you! Get some dirt on those tires.

Option #2

My go to car but option 2 here in case no one has used the Audi before.

Seasonal Championship Foto Opportunity

Older tune but still smashes. 552HP and great handling. Easy winner here!

Thanks for giving it a go!:grin:

Goliath on S900 in the wet was utterly brutal. 20 mins to complete and at least half a dozen restarts due to missing checkpoints from sliding. Painful.

Agree with Giles on the Eventlab Mangrove - a lovely track. Been really impressed with the quality of the Eventlabs in this season and the previous (the Japanese ones).

Drift zone was a little tricker than I thought it would be as well.

Just had my worst trial ever in this game!!

Race 1, I slipped off the first corner and got stuck in a gully… Race 2, I got sandwiched between 2 AI and ‘guided’ into some traffic!!! :joy:

So if you were one of those on my team, I can only apologise for my shocking performance and thank each of you for covering my slack!!

forza became worse ngl

For those Rocking the Tony Tune…

I had an annoying teammate wallriding at the start of Gauntlet. Smashed into me two or three times. Was good fun for me after I got clear of them but very tough for the average player in those cars with the wet conditions I’d have said. I ran lowish 19s and no one else finished.

I finally have the Safari! I love all the engine swaps we get with this car!

What genius put 100 traffic cars in the trial? Like 10 in a row all lined up. Come on. Clown show. Just thoughtless. Still did it first try so whatever. Just the tiniest amount of thought is all I ask. :man_facepalming:. So tired of the playlist. It’s really enough already. Way too many things today. Took 3 instead of the usual 2 hours to complete. That’s getting everything on the first try.

Nice trial tune this week - was driving with someone in front of me and they said ‘so, how about that weather huh?’ While slipping and sliding all of the place in the wet
Second race was a bit of a lost cause, massive pileup 2 seconds into the race and everyone was slipping over the place. Still won as a team though, everyone had modded cars.

Rest of the playlist is boring, just tried my second (and second failed) attempt to get the eliminator points. Both times got challenged and it crashed so
