time to retire?
No messing about here, straight to the MG.
Perhaps if I’d re-installed my Colossus 15:38 tune instead of lazily keeping the 15:40 on it may have saved me from being t-boned by the player in the 207 as I was going through that tight right on Descansar.
Poor car choice, all PI clearly dumped into power and doing that only to end up losing to a stock 2-Eleven user in both races = clearly a very intelligent person
Beating crappy power tunes in bone-stock cars is one of my favorite parts of running the Trial.
I used the (stock) donut Low Car for the Trial and it was really quite good, competed well even though I didn’t drive well
So everything done before the update will not be taken into account? I mean, what if I have done something 100 times now and on the 25th the achievement does not drop automatically? Will I have to do 100 after the update?
that’s most likely, yes, it only starts counting at the point the achievement is introduced
Tried starting Horizon Tour and it’s counting down from 51,510 seconds.
Hi. You can’t do this. These achievements require horizon realms free & skill modes. These modes are not available yet. The current evolving world doesn’t count.
2005 Ford GT makes easy work of the trial.
Yes I had that too and the event stayed static and I knew what event should be on at that time. Only exiting the game and restarting fixed it.
stock options, series 44 “High Performance”, week 4 spring/hot season
[loose basis for approach; cheapest car that’ll do the stunts, least-driven car for races]
weekly “Brawn and Beauty” – Ferrari 812
trial “T-red-ing the Line” – 350Z High Car (decent car; beat 5 robots then 4)
eventlab “Canyonball Raceway” – Ferrari 288 GTO (fine)
eventlab “Origami Park” – Nissan Z ‘23 (not bad)
danger sign “Heights of Mulegé” – Twin Mill (a bit tricky; 302.56 m)
speed trap “Pantano Pass” – COPO Camaro ‘19 (not too hard; 181.64 mph)
speed zone “River Run” – Jeep Trailcat (a bit tricky; 116.32 mph)
championship “Alacrit-rally” – Lancia Fulvia (easy wins)
championship “Easy Deutsch It” – #65 911 Desert (fairly easy wins)
treasure “Old is Gold” – 911 GT3 ’04 (retro supercar, 3 stars at speed traps)
RA speed zone “Reservoir View” – #23 SIERRA ALPHA (not that hard; 95.57 mph)
RA championship “Flex on the Road” – Ford Mustang ‘24 (fairly easy/very easy/easy wins)
HW speed trap “Nexus View” – Venom GT (a bit tricky; 221.69 mph)
HW championship “Audi, Partner!” – RS 4 Avant '18 (easy/easy/fairly easy wins)
now THIS time with the HW speed trap I had more trouble than usual, bottom of Taycan S WP just kept clipping the ground slightly, enough to make 212 the fastest after about a dozen attempts, and the Venom only just made it (first time) and had the same issue but had enough momentum to stay over the requirement
I don’t remember changing any settings but we’ve been here a few times with me being able to do it and others not being able due to cars bottoming out - wonder if something’s been tweaked
How hilarious Did the Horizon Tour Coop 70’s A800 Dirt. Flogged the first race in by a mile, second race i’m about to dnf everyone by close to a lap when they all quit. Yep, all 5 team mates quit
i suppose that’s what happens when you bring peddle cars to race against the mighty Holden Torana
If anyone is frustrated in the Nexus View Speed Trap, specifically losing speed because you’re airbourne very briefly at the ring, you’re not alone. To fix this, simply switch to Horizon Solo and your car will not do this anymore.
seriously? now that is . . . odd
in case it helps anyone, a blueprint on the stadium oval track does not count for last Thursday’s Forzathon task
thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten about that issue… annoying, it would be nice if they’d fix it.
I had to run the trial three times b/c only me and one other player could get any points on the board. Also, my ‘team mates’ kept ramming me…
I went with the WP Evo for the Trial because I was dumb and forgot to check what surface it was on, so I thought the offroad tires might not be great, but nope it tore through the field. Finished 2nd and 1st in the two races we ran. Then we hit the time-honored bug of losing the second race yet winning the Trial…hell, I’m not complaining.
