Festival Playlist events and rewards Mar. 17th - 24th (Winter S5)

The CoMoonStars one that involves smashing about 25 dinosaur pinatas on the eastbound highway is the one I’ve successfully completed.Only 2600 have liked it out of over 3100 and it worked for me. Nip over to the Eventlab & the ‘trending’ tab to have a go.

Nice to see an S2 event. I used the FXX-K E:

Not a particularly clean run but cut through the AI fairly quickly once up to speed.

Puma worked well for me in the trial. Ticked everything off in an hour bar the dailies, Eliminator and piñata smashing.

For all of you struggling with the S2 race challenge:

  • Select any S2 car from your cars list
  • Unload any tune you may have applied to this car beforehand
  • Make sure you replace any RWD or FWD drive train with AWD
  • Before the race, activate Traction Control and Stability Control
  • Go, race and win!

Yeah. The AI tends to not do well with AWD in S2 road racing. Meta tuning but if you cannot win with a base tune …

Then you do what you need to do to complete the challenge which means meta tuning in this case

If you are not getting credit for B’s Knees, buy a new Hoonigan RS200 and do the festival play list with it STOCK. Same old problem…

Same problem here, on this week’s Offroad Revolution weekly challenge. I bought the Hoonigan RS 200 either from the Forzathon shop or the new cars section of the game, don’t remember for sure. When I started with it, it looked like I was recognized as playing the challenge, but after closing the game and coming back to it later it’s like I never started it, and it won’t start it now.

I was going to ask if there was a special Ken Block edition of the car (not available in stores), instead of the stocker.

Well, tried it. To no avail. :face_exhaling:

Too right. Does nobody quality check these before putting them up ? Come on. I mean sure it’s nice to have every piece of candy in the store but you know it’s just going to be a puking mess. Somebody needs to dial the event map item limits down from 11 to something around 5. Not even a fun race.

I feel your pain! S2 is definitely NOT my comfort zone, either.
I was finally successful using the 2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento FE with an S2 969 tune called “Slow and Steady” by CallumI74I (share code 225 167 847).
As I’ve seen a few folks mention here and elsewhere, selecting a lower PI tune (rather than maxing out), seems to make the AI more manageable.
By the way, I got 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the 3 races…so be aware you don’t have to WIN all 3 races.
Very best of luck! Love your gamertag, by the way. :smiley_cat:

Another week, another bugged events. Can’t get the weekly challenge chapter 1 Living the Dream completed, neither using the 1986 Hoonigan RS200 Evolution I own or buying a new one from the Autoshow. And yes, I know after getting in the car I need to drive at least a few feet before it checkmarks chapter 1… /sigh.

Edit: Solved. Be sure to be in the hooningan RS200 before you exit and restart the game and it’ll complete chapter 1.

I used Nalak’s FXX K. A lot of sections are waaay straighter than they look. Like one of the bridges ends with a chicane but you can break the barrier and go straight as ai slows down and turns.

I have the same issue. Looks like yet another buggy playlist.

Did you change video mode and reset? That fixed the Isetta challrnge for me last week

Yep same here too. Hate doing it but had to drop the AI right down as it was just irritating me too much. I like a challenge but sticky out walls and fast AI and silly sharp corners with there AI crashing into each other and me is too much.

Hi,
I tend to do these Championship Races with stock cars at first and if unsuccessful gradually tune them up.

Now in this case the matchmaking seems to be very uneven by the game, so you might have to try a few times.

I won this Championship with a Stock Lamborghini Sesto ( non FE version ) PI939, couldn’t catch a Koenigsegg One ( PI 989 ) in Race number three, no matter 1st 1st 2nd was enough.

It was slightly easier after IU tuned the very same Lambo to PI952 even though this time a few Opponents where matched which had a PI of 998, anyway same result, however I did catch up to the lead car in the last race and would it not have been for a mistake in the last corner by me I would have gotten three wins.

In regards to the tunes, because I drive with steering wheel and 900 degrees of rotation the recommended tunes that work for all the controller drivers definitely are undriveable for me, always have been in FH4 as well, so for this High Roller Championship I definitely recommend using a lower PI car, AWD, although the Ferrari FXX seems very stable at least with my steering wheel .

Really not having fun with this weeks weekly the speed zone part always coming up 1mph short of the target speed so annoying the car just seems rubbish, if that’s Ken Block whoever he is dream car then the bloke must be an idiot lol

I was poor in the trial. Used 22B which was fast enough but I failed it. Got 2nd in first race but I twice shifted into reverse and next race let myself be in a position for someone to push me outside a checkpoint and recovered to 8th but hey ho we won. xD usually keep my nose much cleaner than that. “Stunts” were meh.

I used the RS200 to 3 star all the PR stunts, it excels in all the arcade types barring speed where it’s still respectable and it’s a very good S2 dirt + CC choice, evidently you lack the ability to drive what is a great all-around car, Ken Block isn’t the idiot here.

Top Gear, YouTube, WRC, DiRT, Hoonigan, NFS2015, he’s been in all of them and FH has had his cars in for the past 3 iterations.

Perhaps that obligatory ‘lol’ you put in practically every post should be directed at yourself in this instance.
