Rally adventure danger sign info is in the RA Championship window

Sorry I’ve not done anything this week, could make up some waffle but I simply couldn’t be bothered with the game in general.

Vast choice with many obvious and strong picks that we’ll all be very familiar with throughout the game though, almost all the Hondas, original MX-5, Integra etc plus a bunch of the native AWD cars for MC users.

There may be others I’ve forgotten but I have an NSX tune up from an old Street Trial that should still be sat in at least the top 50 on Guanajuato Sur.

C600 Retro Rally on dirt, with stock tyres, nah not this time. B700 would be perfect so we could put some offroad racing tyres on our cars atleast…

The Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 can have offroads within the C600 PI budget. You won’t get a great power to weight ratio, and not a lot of top speed, but there is a hint of grip to be found. Driving it manually with clutch is recommended, since a race clutch+box won’t fit within the PI budget. This should be a good alternative for the Rally Heroes championship for those who are not into sliding around on stock tyres.

For anyone who hasn’t got the Galant VR-4, it’s available in the Backstage Shop for one Backstage Pass (D’oh! It’s the 20 pts reward for the winter season :man_facepalming:) . Happy tuning!

The Legacy can also fit Offroads into C class with decent PI left over, although anyone that doesn’t already have that is out of luck, exclusive and not in backstage, think it’s been up for voting but lost.

Honestly its kind of fun having a slidier time and since its just a regular championship its no great struggle.

Despite having a galant and legacy set up and ready to go I’m still seriously thinking of going with the celica st185 just for the fun of sliding around in the pack.

If Rami’s Racing History wins the playlist vote this month then the SUBARU LEGACY will be available to obtain there, since it starts low in C-class (I believe 514) it can make the massive PI jump to go to offroad race tires which would make it the best option for this championship. Since I do not have this vehicle and am not going to spend forever sniping it, the only other alternative if you don’t want to drive a car with stock tires would be the Galant VR-4, which can fit offroad tires in C-class but will need the Forza race rear wing to get the PI back down. I would normally advise against having aero only in the rear, but setting the tuning settings fully towards oversteer (less front tire PSI than rear, full 1/65 ARBs, minimum rear downforce, diff 100% rear biased) will make up for it in this case as driving it around I’m not feeling any sense of understeer or front end lift unlike most cars if you run them rear aero only.

You can fit front aero aswell if you are willing to forego any trans or diff upgrades and fit a heavier wheel (i went with the 5 spoke compmotives as they look pretty close to the 5 spokes you see on some galant rally cars).

Honestly it handles pretty well all round. In my testing with my likely horrid builds and tunes it was about 0.3 to 0.5 seconds slower on each lap of mangrove than my legacy but a good 1.5 seconds a lap faster than my st185.

Of course I had to buy a third one as my others were set up for A and B class.
