The weekly challenge with the Z4 M doesn’t work for me. I bought the right car, got in but when I spawn in the map it doesn’t tick off the first challenge for me, even after driving it. I got it to work once and tried to take the picture but it got reset.
I tried restarting the game but it doesn’t work, it’s stil, stuck at the first challenge. Anyone know how to fix this?
Right, I just solved this by switching to Performance mode. It also made the game play a lot better. I no longer notice the annoying input lag I’ve been complaining about. It pretty much feels like FH4 now!
I was expecting this week’s Trial to be more difficult. I didn’t make any adjustments, just used the rental car, and our team cleanly swept the first event and nearly swept the 2nd (I got passed by 2 AI and another person got passed by one of those).
I have no idea where you all find these teams that sweep any of this seasons trial events let alone that first one. All week the AI have dominated the first race in my attempts, usually team human does ok in 2nd (one sweep and one nearly), and then messes up the 3rd. Sometimes me sure and I’ve dropped to give the win in the 3rd. But too many who seem to be not trying, or trying too hard (all over the track, even the AI), or just griefing. Like the good old bad old days. I think I’m cursed lol. I don’t need it this week but it rankles breaking a 100% streak.
To be fair, I think we got lucky in the first race with the amount of calamities that the AI had. Basically RNGesus blessed us for a change.
Does sound like you have just had bad luck. I did this one three times I think at the weekend. The first race the AI is reasonably competent but the teams I was on won all of them. The second race the AI is poor - so we won all three 2-0.
There will usually be people on here who could convoy with anyone struggling but might be difficult this close to the deadline!
You would think this week’s will be easy for most players with the Quattro being AWD.
I just know having said that now I’m going to end up in a team that makes it look like they’re trying to tame the full S1 E2 rally version in Dirt Rally.
Someone needs to tell us if we can use upgrades, or not.
Anyone else having problems with the hammer jump daily? I can’t seem to get it to register even after rebooting my console.
Not necessary whatsoever. Done 4 round now. All Trials won by the team, all but one in two races. The last try was the hardest. AI won race 1 there.
First run I had great trouble shifting gears. Turned out I had turned on Manual with clutch by mistake, whoops.
Try switching to Performance mode or Quality mode. The game will reload. I solved the weekly challenges that way
Unfortunately, there’s no such setting on the One S version.
This Trial’s just gonna make me sad that the S1 is inexplicably absent from this game, isn’t it? 
I upgraded it to A class and jumped over 1200ft instead of in the 1020s stock and it triggered. Looks like there’s more required than it says.
The point of changing the even to free for all with the AI competitors is allow people who insist on being in last place in the races not being carried by the point system of the team.
e.g. 6 online players and 6 AI players and top 6 in points from the three races would get the weekly prize.
So the ai players stand a chance of winning a weekly prize.

They dont. They just love to feel fancy saying things like “everything is easy, dont without sweat in the first try”, etc, etc. You should know this by now.
