Festival Playlist events and rewards June 30 - July 7 (Autumn S9)

Well, it completed for me after losing, so I was happy :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Thanks ill give that a try!

The Event Lab race did load for me now. The track was made very sloppy I must say. A lot of parts didn’t line up properly and the layout wasn’t all that clear. I drove the wrong way at the last corner so I had to rewind. Otherwise driving those half pipes is pretty fun. Hood cam is highly recommended though!

Same, wonderful little car :ok_hand:

I did the EventLab in my MachE (Go! Go! Goooo!) and enjoyed it, but some of the track was uneven and there was one transition right before returning to normal ground at the end that was particularly bad. And I didn’t realize the track was crossing itself until I took a turn a bit too sideways and ended up in a crossing at just the right time to get multi-plowed.

How much of an expletive does someone have to be to go into a Tour and not even bother doing the drive from the end of Gran Pantano to the start of Playa Azul?

This weeks Speedzone is complete horse crap.

Who the heck made this a challenge? I’ve tried 8 cars now and 12 + tunes, nothing can hold the corner and keep 100+

I despise challenges like this that take days to complete, why so hard that every time I miss by 2-3mph.

This one needs you to take a good run up and when you hit the corner don’t accelerate into it, rather accelerate just after you have turned and it should give you a nice exit speed to keep the MPH up. Braking is not your friend on this speed zone and getting a nice line is helpful as well. The M1 should be able to do this, i used a different car but have forgotten and i’m not logged into the game at the moment.

I’m in with @PhoenixCat81. If these challenges are beyond my abilities I’m just not wasting my time on them. If PGG wants players engaging in the game, they need to come up with a tiered level of engaging in the challenges.

I think i I used the Ferrari Challenge Stradale because it’s one of the fastest and most OP cars in the class. No wallriding - it’s made of glue. M1 is faster in my experience, but more boaty.

There are at least 3 ways of completing the speedzone challenge.
First - the convential way using a car with grip that can maintain speed whilst making the turn. I struggled with this.
Second - wall-riding. This is the simplest and easiest. You need as long a run-up as you can and maximum speed. I got the best results attacking the speed zone from the right (East). Try to turn and use as little brake as possible. Bounce off the wall near the end of the zone.
Third - not tried this but it is becoming more popular. You need 2 tunes for the car - the one required for the challenge and a higher one - S1, S2 etc. You start off in the higher tune then near the end of the zone enter the pause menu and change to the lower tune. As long as you complete the change before the end of the zone it will count. It can also be used for other P R Stunts.

That was the car i used, thanks PassionWagon69 :+1:

My approach was to follow the course of the Festival circuit until I completed the speed zone because I knew that sooner or later I’d get the line and speed just right. I used the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale.

If you’re in manual, enter the zone in 6th (or 5th shifting to 6th asap) and as you approach the sharp corner, shift down to 3rd, tiny amount of coasting, and back on the power to complete it. Afdmittedly, it took me a few goes to get things just right.

If you want to annoy me with PR stunts, anything in D, C or B class will utterly irk me, where there’s clearly a correct car to use, but it’ll have to have the most power, but the fewest upgrades available, thus making it the least drivable.

I have to say i was pleasantly surprised with how much i enjoyed the Street Tunerz Championship. I decided to go stock and default tune for this championship and used the Alpine A110 '17. What an awesome car to drive, especially in RWD. I had forgotten about these little gems i tend to overlook for some OP car tuned to wipe the field from existence. The A110 didn’t need that. Even in RWD this beast of a car made light work of the pack to get to the front and stay there. The handling was superb and it didn’t miss a beat on any of the Street tracks it raced on. The only car to compete on any level with me was another A110. It just goes to show that you don’t always need “the best upgraded and tuned car” to win these championships and it sure does make you feel good being able to say i did that, untuned and stock  :muscle:

I drop about 100 duplicated cars into drop box, and receive a lot of gift messages. Hope you have my gifts. My GamerTag is TonyKSHuang.

I used a Ferrari F355 because I had already upgraded it for some races (very basic AWD tune with rear wing and power upgrades mostly). It took a couple of tries but it finally worked with some run up.
