Festival Playlist Tunes June 1st - June 8th (Autumn S21)
Happy Thursday Throttle Jockeys! I have some nice hot rods for you this weeks seasonal challenges.
Seasonal Tuning method

  1. I always go for a stock look - wheels, rim sizes and aero are only changed if it is absolutely necessary for handling and stability.
  2. Tunes are always tuned to max performance with max handling.
  3. All cars tuned vs. Unbeatable AI on championship tracks in seasonal weather. Tunes are then baseline ran in Rivals.
I again want to thank everyone for the downloads, follows, comments and likes! Remember feedback is important! I like hearing any and all comments on these tunes. There is no “bad” comments. You guys have been awesome with your support.

2017 Ram Power Wagon (AWD)

Use the Malpais trailblazer. It’s by far the easiest one.

Trial “Ooh Barranca” C600 Retro Rally
1992 Toyota Celica GT-Four (AWD) Full Aero
Share Code: 165-971-941
Little disappointed in this weeks trial settings. Retro Rally could’ve been a great trail had they gone with B700 instead of C600 ratings. Throw in the selection of power tracks like Barranca and it takes the competitive car choices down to a very narrow selection. Any C600 tune with off-road tires will get gapped at the first two tracks. This Celica tune is quick and will get the job done for you.

The tracks for this weeks trail are:

  1. Barranca Trail
  2. El Pipila Scramble
  3. Banjo Trail

Event Lab “By Land, Air, & Sea”
A800 Off-road Capable
1993 Toyota T100 Baja (AWD)

Fun truck to drive around in and is definitely Off Road capable!

Danger Sign “Salto De Rio”
S2 Anything Goes Target: 590.6 FT
Jesko (AWD) Share Code: 183-064-856
Easy one & done!

Speed Trap “Dust Bowl”
S2 Anything Goes Target: 160 MPH
Jesko (AWD) Share Code: 183-064-856
Start to the south and cut across the desert to hit the trap. You should be between 180-200 MPH.

Seasonal Championship
“Rally Good Time” A800 Rally Monsters
1985 Porsche #185 959 (AWD)
Share Code: 464-375-484
A800 Rally Monsters is a pretty dull class. There is no “monster” in most of these underpowered cars. I went through every single one of them and I found your monster. This Porsche has a bad attitude. Maybe it’s because someone put those ugly utility trailer lights on its roof? Lucky for you this thing is ready to kill all of the drivatars in true horror movie monster fashion.
The tracks for this Seasonal Championship are:

  1. Tapalpa Trail
  2. La Selva Scramble
  3. Cascada Trail

Great tune for Cross Country Circuits. Lots of power and good handling will send the drivatars to the back of the pack.
The tracks for this Seasonal Championship are:

  1. Airfield Cross Country Circuit
  2. Costera Cross Country Circuit
  3. Ribera Rocosa Cross Country

Speed Zone “Tierras Verdes”

Oh boy! This one is very tricky! Start from the north. You can actually get away with being quite a bit of the trail for this one. Once you hit the start gate veer to the left off the road. Cut a straight path through the field. Line yourself up for the right hander. On exit of the last left you will be off the trail again just cut a straight path to the finish gate. My best speed was a 77 MPH pass. Good luck!

Light and nimble. Just what you need for these tight and twisty expansion tracks. I think this tune is the “Ultimate Driving Experience”.
The tracks for this Seasonal Championship are:

  1. Devils Pass
  2. Canyon Trail
  3. Arzate Sprint

Danger Sign “Canyon Fire”
Target: 1,640.4 FT
Jesko (AWD) Share Code: 183-064-856
Jesko Murder tune shines again! One & done with a distance of over 2,200 feet!

Seasonal Championship “Super Loops”
S900 Modern Super Cars
2010 Nobel M600

This Noble is insanely fast!!! Easy winner here. This car and this tune slays on any track anywhere.
The tracks for this Seasonal Championship are:

  1. Canyon Loop Speed Sprint
  2. Twin Loop Speed Sprint
  3. Canyon Racer Speed Sprint

There you have it. Congratulations on your victories and another great week!

So the big project for this week was the rampant lion:

I used that to come up with a vinyl group replica of the Scottish flag, and also I made a livery that references the flag heavily on the Shelby Cobra 427 S/C:

The trial’s requirement is “retro rally”, so most of the featured liveries will fit those specs:

1992 Escort Cosworth “Liberty”: 155 363 277
1992 Galant VR-4 “Miami Vice”: 955 382 582
1999 Lancer Evo VI “Purple Haze”: 176 210 242
1990 Pulsar GTI-R “Gulf”: 802 321 539
1980 5 Turbo “Yellow Elixir”: 119 372 561
1990 Legacy RS “Scottish Flag”: 947 196 643
1998 Impreza 22B-STI “This is Fine”: 277 309 291

and the bonus Cobra 427 Livery: 939 748 851

And a special thanks to everybody that downloaded/liked/used my liveries. Especially @AAORTA who downloaded the Cobra 427 one (and gave me to the push to work on some of the more complicated flags) that pushed me over into “legendary painter” territory. It’s kind of a pain that there’s no visible indication of it other than the auction ability, but it’s something I’ve been chasing for a while.

I’m working on the red dragon for the flag of Wales for next week, hopefully.

1986 F150 Lariat “Liberty”: 160 702 354

Tony trial tune livery:

1992 Celica “Gulf”: 445 450 673

Cashless trial tune livery:

1999 Ford Racing Puma “Liberty”:807 194 431

Anyway, here’s what it looks like there.

A post was split to a new topic: Collectibles - no collision on Series 21 boards

got attacked immediately in my first race :upside_down_face:

You weren’t kidding about the lack of oomph up that hill. Lordy! Missed a cp at the top of the hill & finished 7th. Team won easily tho

Second race, the scramble, simples win. Puma well suited.

I guess you could say my trial tune is working…:joy:
Never had a trial where none of my teammates failed to finish. This tune feels like it’s in another class. From the start this thing gaps everyone. I haven’t had a drivatar or teammate put a fender to me at all. It simply runs away and hides.

Yes, it’s a slog up that hill (insert Kate Bush tune here ). I didn’t want to tune specifically for Barranco, and I’m not much of a powerbuild girl, so that’s what I have. :smiling_face_with_tear: It does exceptionally well on a lot of courses…and put up a decent rivals time at Barranco…but its a downhiller! :woman_shrugging::grin:

I enjoyed it. Watch everyone fly away at the start and the reel them all in through the dirt section. Good fun.

Thanks for the mention @BravoSteelviper - glad to support this project. :vulcan_salute:

Am I correct that this is at least the 2nd time this particular Eventlab has been in the playlist? I was having some serious déjà vu.
