Don’t give up. The trick to driving the GT500 in the wet is good old fashioned don’t steer when on the throttle or the brakes, and be gentle with the juice. Take it slow, and the bots should be slower.

The last time I saw anyone blatantly cheating in an event I was in personally was within the last year. It was either a trial or tour at Cathedral Circuit. Im not the fastest player in the game, but Im not slow and I know what WR pace looks like. This guy did lap 2 at least 30 seconds faster than possible. He waited for me about halfway through lap 3, then rocketed away from a dead stop like a top fuel dragster and finished that last half of the lap in about 15 seconds. Then he sent me messages. Bruh.
Ive seen ghosts in rivals doing that before and since, not just exploiting glitches, but thats the last time Ive seen it as it happened.

I’ve done a few trials now and haven’t suffered as many defeats as I have this week for quite a while. On Copper Canyon teams fall apart, almost without exception, on the corkscrew section. If they get past that the first bridge corner gets most of the rest.
The second race has been too slippery for nearly everyone. There are lots of new players about who just don’t have nearly enough throttle control (an area where I’ve got lots of room to improve after playing this game for years) to get off the line or accelerate out of corners.
Riviera Sprint for the third race is thankfully a simple track but I’ve only seen it once with the issues the previous races have given the teams I’ve been in.

Trial was weird. Got my shelby and reset all the upgrades and the paint to default and it still wouldnt let me select it for the trial and i had to use a rental one.
yes, buying one new is fine, resetting to stock causes this - there are a couple of other cars where the PI changes slightly when that’s done

The today daily doesn’t work, I tried several horizon open race in a 2013 viper GTS without success, any suggestion?

You need to do normal Horizon Open, custom won’t work.
Had to search 20 minutes for S1 lobby..

Seems best to have a couple different cars ready to go for either dirt or road so as to not have to keep escaping out of every race your car doesn’t suit.
This is a lot of hassle for one measley forzathon point.

It’s just funny. While waiting for an S1 Road to come up, I was getting S1 Dirt, S1 Cross Country, Dirt, Dirt, CC, etc.
Now that I have two S1s ready to go, of course, like you said, all of the A class races are coming up. Thanks.

I guessed the custom race wouldn’t work but tried anyway and I wasn’t disappointed. Bit of a shame but that was the effort I was prepared to make for one point.

Try the dlc open races like hot wheels as I just done the challenge using s2 tune in a open race at it completed it no problem
