As a tribute to lost phoenix I always use the mosler when I can…perfect week for it. I got the porsche 70’ 935…running some good times against the unbeatable AI. All I can say is the AI is pretty much ramped up now as we are close to the trial. They are being pretty stiff lol.

Some of my Porsches with S1 900 tunes but there are many more.

Hopefully others have a better trial experience than I just did. Attempt #1 full of idiots and an early quit. Attempt #2 maybe just the one complete and utter idiot but I’ll try to remember the name so I’m nowhere near him again.

Normally do playlist in a convoy, none of the eventlabs are available which is a pity.

First failed trial in a while. Second race is Horizon festival circuit. That first turn on Linea gives the lead rabbit a huge advantage.

Resorvio Sprint is the third stage. Strange trial. Linea team humans won big time, as a Taycan WP shot to the front which just seems to take the wind out of the sails of the rabbits. Now that same WP car… was in last place in the circuit, and the team lost by 50 points. Then the Taycan shot to the front on the sprint and was first again. It was really strange. Good at rapid launch/acceleration, maybe?

Anyway, it was an amazing variety of cars. There were zero repeats within each of the two trials (outside of the Taycan S and the Taycan S WP… but they’re still technically different “models”). Lots of variety so I wasn’t able to perceive a particular “meta” choice. Of the two cars I drove I definitely felt better in @x_ShadowsBane_x 's Strassenversion over the GT3RS.

The Tycan WP has great Launch and top speed so probably better suited to the sprint races.

Dumb question, cause I can’t recall:
Did it always revert to car stats (from power/weight to speed/acc/handling) whenever you back out from parts screen in garage upgrade menu?

For the EventLabs.

The “Rally Finland” EL is bugged and presumably wasn’t playtested once again. The first AI in the right row of the starting grid drives against a tree and the following two are bumping into it which results in them getting stuck. The other two can barely make it over the speed bumps after the start which results in them veering off the line or completely off the track and down the hillslope.

I’ve tested this a couple of times with about the same results. Besides that I got a “missed checkpoint” message right the before the finish line for what ever reason.

The “The Round Table 1960 S” EL has an unbelievable uneven/bumpy surface. At first I drove it with the Abarth 595 and that thing was thrown around in some locations because of the bumps it wasn’t even funny anymore. More heavy and bigger cars don’t seem to have that much of a problem but it’s still noticable.

Please do better. This goes for the creators but especially PGG when it comes to selecting and testing.

Just wondering, anyone else getting a “checkpoint missed” near the end of the Rally Finland event lab ? I was thinking, what checkpoint ? am I going to have to do it again ? but, no worries i guess because it did shortly after give me the event complete and win. Still, annoying and not so much blaming the creator as a total lack of testing before including if it is there for everyone.

EDIT : I should have added I did like the track generally, nice drive :+1:

Simultaneous posting  Yeah I noticed the first AI go awry too and the resulting bedlam. Odd.

Would be interesting to know if the original EL included AI or if that was added as part of the playlist selection. We’ve all seen what the change of a season can do to an EL when modified from the original format. I’ve created a couple of EL races, but they are sans AI bc of the inherent issues that generally creates, but if they were added after the fact, no clue what would ensue…

Treasure hunt:
Drive 100mph in a Lancia 1986 Delta S4. That’s my guess anyway. I was trying to get a “speed” skill and it triggered right around when I got to 100.

Other Treasure hunt:
I’m guessing it’s clean skills in a Jag, but I got both clean laps and clean skills on the Horizon stadium oval. The hunt tripped after the race was over. I used the XKR-S.

Heh, had your Streetee McGee from before, still worked great and got lucky in the trial again with decent team human. I’d say your tune made it a two and done. Placed easy 2nd (runaway AI) in first race and a hard fought 3rd (should have been 2nd, messed up pass chance on AI) in second race (good teammate ahead of AI). Pity our last place team human dropped because I think we (just barely) had the points to carry them but appreciate they maybe didn’t want to risk too close final stretch. Hope they get it done next try. Everyone on team human contributed :+1:

I just finished FH4…so heading on over to this weeks FH5 trial first. Got three cars…the number 70, the gt3, cashless’s tune for the 2016, and a strat. I was going to go rogue with the 906…but the handling is horrible. My number 70…935 though is a monster so hopefully it does okay. I was running .58’s against the unbeatable AI last night on horizon circuit. That should still be good enough. I was mollywhopping them at that time.

First race my tune rocked. Team did okay…the AI was a bit more rowdy today…but after fh4 warm up not as bad as that lol. FH4 ai is so aggressive compared to fh5.
