Its not easier or harder if you use a tuned car or a stock car since ai adapt to the stats of the car you are using. The best way to make a easy race is to tune a car to have low top speed on paper. Lets say you use a car tuned to a800 and you change it to awd and a leave it ln stock trans, the top speed then says 4.9 for example, that will make the ai slower but the real top speed of you care is more than 4.9 since you can tune the gearbox. If you change gearbox then you car maybe have 7.0 top speed on paper but in real life its still as fast as the 4.9, but the ai will be faster since your car is faster on paper. There is more factors too but thats just one way, so the pi of a ai means nothing.
For example this is on unbeateble using a slow a800 bmw m2 and then using a a800 fast ferrari

Threw a quick rod kinda tune and look on it, splashed some flames on the paint, and done easy. Kind of a shame I’d already done the trail blazer, I’m sure it would have been excellent there too. So much fun I kept hooning it just for fun for a bit before gifting it to someone I hope has as much fun with it. Nothing beats the classics
Sadly it wasn’t really inspiration - just the only decent and quick pre70’s B class that I had. It was only later I found out that a 1970 car was valid due to the poor description on the playlist. But cheers for the shout out.

I managed to get connected in free roam often enough to see HAs appearing on the map. It took ages before it was drift + anything that wasn’t wreckage.
And when the right HA did appear for the daily challenge, I ended up doing all the graft while some parasite profited off my efforts. Grrr!

Mentioned before in other threads, when I see these I usually just drive up to them and face them down till they start to assist or, if not, just do nothing as well. I don’t need the points so no big issue for me to lose out and get a better one later.
Pretty impressed with the 2020 MG #20 MG6 XPower. After upgrading & tuning, handling & performance in XClass makes this a joy to drive. Top end of 247mph isn’t too bad considering. Also found the FIA TCR Great Britain racing livery, so I decided to recreate the theme with my own twist on it. Tune & livery share codes below for anyone interested in taking it for a spin.
What is a cheap option ? Can’t recall exactly but looks like there’s only 2 that will get there. The Ford #25 Brocky and the Nissan Fairlady Z Forza Edition. I got close with the Rally Fighter (899) so it might be doable and I didn’t look too hard at the Extreme E but don’t think it’ll do it. Of the two I think the Nissan was a bit cheaper but that might have been down to parts in the garage already.
yep,Rally Fighter will do it. Cheapest option for me as i already had an s1/ 900 tune for it. Picked the 1st s2 tune that comes up with a search,and cost a grand total of 5k to upgrade .Will be interesting to see what difficulty level i’ll have to pick to get a win with it,it’s a bit of a boat.
I was looking at a few Unlimited Offroad this morning to tune to S2. Tried loads and eventually found the Nissan Fairlady Z FE, which i tuned to S2 901, driving iut is a bit of a challenge though, handling is 3.2!
Re the others in class, have not looked at the #25 Brocky, might do later. No chance with the Extreme E clan. Could not get the Rally Fighter to S2 and i applied all of the upgrades available in custom tuning, may revisit later as @PentEd1231 stated there are S2 tunes available, but i am looking at creating and sharing my own to get my stats up.
Jeep Trailcat is 75,000 in the Autoshow. Adding in about 105,000 of upgrades puts it into S2. That’s the cheapest option from a blank slate, I think. I also think 901 is the limit on PI for the vehicle [edit, maybe not, see below]. I don’t need credits or likes on tunes but 322 832 403 for those who don’t want to work out what to do.

Fascinating. I’m going to have to take the masters class in tuning I wasn’t able to find tweaks for most of those that got to S2 in my quick rummage through the parts bins earlier. Close on a couple but not quite there.
