So to begin, we have the 20k download edition!
Special thanks to:
@CashlessPlains8, @Bravo437, @PlageBLN, @AudioRebelUK, @TonyKartRcr, @ziperrPL, @AAORTA, @x_ShadowsBane_x, Not_Here_Too, @SpirantCrayon22, Agent4Christ962, and @AudibleJam509
(that’s everybody that I have exchanged messages with on the forums, sorry if I missed anybody)
The cursive lyrics are a reference to a song by Pegboard Nerds called “20k”. They’re actually a sample from the movie The Warriors from a speech by Cyrus. They made the song to celebrate twenty thousand followers on their Youtube channel, I think. The pixelated heart is the Pegboard Nerds logo (and might have some application next month for Valentine’s day). And I threw the V.A.S.T. logo on there, as that thread and people from that thread are a big part of why I came to the forums in the first place. I was just checking boxes to get the completionist accolade. Along the way I was inspired by some of the other content creators here both the livery artists like Bravo437 or all the mad scientist tuners in the Rivals thread, and now I try to contribute as best I can to people looking cool (or at least different) when they’re doing their weekly trial.
Internation 1970 Scout 800A (20K): 119 616 922

Anyway, on to the rest of the week’s liveries:

Chevrolet 1972 K10 Custom (White Stripes): 178 528 824
Ford 1975 Bronco (War Tribe): 773 109 012
Internation 1970 Scout 800A (Gulf Rallye): 721 480 419
Jeep 1976 CJ5 Renegade (War Tribe CJ5): 129 750 416

Land Rover 1997 Defender 90 (WarTribeDefender): 759 048 171
Toyota 1979 FJ40 (This Side Down): 166 870 892

The FJ40 has a “this side down” that reads both normally and inverted… just in case you end up flipped over in a ditch with it like I usually do. “This is fine.”
Apparently you can only mention 10 people in one post. Sorry to Agent and Not_Here for the lack of tag (but you’re still on the livery).

Very nice 20k milestone livery. I really appreciate the shoutout and having my gamertag included!!

All of these are great and I’ll grab them today. I think I know what vehicle I’ll be using for the Trial.:slightly_smiling_face:

Congrats & thanks for the shoutout as well! I’ll pick this up the next time I’m on.

Congratulations and here’s to many more DLs! :+1::grin:

Yep another back-pat to BravoSteelVipers well deserved achievement.
If anyone wants a few million more credits & have plenty of Forzathon Points spare, sell off these three vehicles if you have them in your garage as they’ll be available to buy for FP points in the Forzathon Shop. One each will be featured for the next 3 weeks…

Jaguar 1953
Porsche 1966 (906c)
Ferrari 1970 (512s)

I’ve sold all of mine for about 6 million each in the A.H. These three are the Weekly-Challenge vehicles during this month.

@BravoSteelviper I picked up the new livery! :+1: Thanks for including me, that was most kind of you!:grin:

To all of the usual suspects…

I’ve been extremely under the weather this week so I won’t be suggesting any tunes. :sob::wink: I have some tunes shared but I’m not comfortable suggesting ones I haven’t tested thoroughly on this week’s tracks. :woman_shrugging:

A lot of great tuners have some excellent tunes this week (my rivals notifications was…lets just say…very busy! :joy:) so make sure to check them out and support our forum folks! :+1:

Happy driving all!!

Wow…nice job my friend. You helped a lot of people yourself. :+1:

OT: ahhhh, my beloved CCX is back……and hopefully the Lykan is in a better competitive PI position this time.

Yeah, great reward cars this week. Hopefully their mechanical grip is as good as in Horizon 4.
Haven’t spent much time in Horizon lately but those two I will get instantly.
Shame they are missing in Motorsport as well.

Great trial! Got to race with @AudioRebelUK! What are the odds of that? Maybe better in that forum folks are more likely to be hitting the trial early. He was sporting a Man City blue CJ5. (Though I know a sweet vinyl group you should put on there…)

I used @geistwriter 's tune because I had run it in rivals some. Rivals… is way different from the trial though. Not needing to keep runs clean, and pressure to perform had me roll my CJ5 3 times on Pipila (driver error, not the tune’s fault). I will say that despite that I managed to land the first human spot, but I couldn’t catch the two rabbits. One of those rolls was so smooth that it didn’t even really slow me down AND I got a barrel roll skill out of it. So… that’s something. The San Juan scramble was a rout, and the humans just killed it. I started in the back on that one, but managed to squeak out a win at the last second.

Very cool to see you and race with you AudioRebel!

used the K10 for the actual event, with predictable results.

@BravoSteelviper highlights a reason why the best rivals tune isn’t always the best choice come race time, and indeed I went with something sturdier

Nice tune on the Jeep Renegade @TheGillesMuller . Made the races a real walk in the park. Needed a third race though as the rest of the team really struggled on the San Juan scramble, not sure why as the first and third races were fine :person_shrugging:

That we jeep renegade was a laugh. Rolled a few times and still finished 1st

The Scout came through in the first race.

Wasn’t able to navigate through my teammates and the ai quick enough in the second race but still finished 1st amongst the humans.

I was sporting @BravoSteelviper’s milestone livery.

Ngl, was relieved that the first two races were circuits. Not sure my Scout tune would have had enough speed to be competitive in a sprint

I had posted a couple cars in the class of the actual Trial some time ago already. If you’re interested you can check them out here.

I used the Nissan Titan but Ren has reported that the MB X-Class also worked well last time.

For the EventLabs.

SC: Design 174 327 016 - Tune 936 167 368 (A 800)

I’ve no design for the second one but used the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 2020 with the following tune.

SC: 182 691 623 (B 700)

Something for the Photo Challenge fresh out of the painting booth.

Porsche 911 GT2 1995

SC: Design 146 046 641 - Tune 103 110 055 (S1 900)

I only got 160ish with the TVR Griffith, ah well, did the danger sign in the lowest PI car possible, though

Anyway, that tune for the PR stunts is drawing a blank when I search - mis-typed maybe?

yes - it’s 959 692 571

Ouch, I hope you get well soon ! I always wait for your post before I start the playlist, I’m gonna miss it this time

See you soon

You’re right. Thanks for pointing that out.

The Supra did everything. The zone and the jump on the first try. The trap needed a couple tries but it also was wet.

Thank you for checking out my tunes!:grin: I’ll be back next week (:crossed_fingers:) but I’m sure the forum tuners have you covered this week! Best of luck to all!
