Dagnabbit ! Why didn’t I see this sooner ! Did the Trial with the Starion because it was there, no real problems in it but I love the 70 Datsun 510 ! Hmm, I suppose, this might be a week to do the Trial again for fun. We’ll see

Oh cool! Another oldschool car with T-tops is returning to Forza! I wonder if we can finally remove the roof–NOPE.

+1. I used the Datsun tune and breezed 2 wins without trying, and I ain’t no racer!!
Great tune, and you have got another follower CashlessPlains8

Well what’d you expect, the model is the same as it was in FM2.

These EventLabs are cool and I did the trial flawlessly. Which gave me enough to get the Civic GRC.

Unfortunately it’s exactly as I expected it. I’m venting frustration in a way other than saying ‘holy crud this car model is older than much of the current playerbase.’

Not if you do it the way I did it! Don’t waste your time on it.:sweat_smile::rofl::innocent::rofl:

All the convertables with working roofs! Except for the ones that don’t work, as designed that way. Because the developers never intended for them to work in the first place. Only the tease you into presales of the game.

The Datsun killed. I was able to coast and help play rear guard for the FJ40 that kept flipping over. Don’t get me wrong… those things are fast, but you have to handle corners carefully and whoever was driving it spent and inordinate amount of time rolling over on that first track. Second course they got second, so I guess it didn’t have as sharp of turns?

No. No no no.

That MR2 car model is absolutely ghastly. Polishing ancient OG Xbox models like this and the R32 Skyline has to stop.

This is what we should be able to grill devs on and yes it is fair. It’s no joke. Some people playing are younger than those car models. They’re almost old enough to buy beer.

Another :+1: for the Dastune

Fun drive, took a bit of getting used to in the first race, drove AI running roadblock mostly, but was getting the hang of it in the second and came from behind to win clean after full team human was in front. Will drive more ! What’s that ? Another blast from my past ? A 70’s Honda Civic  Well, I guess I’ll do the Trial a third time in another car for fun then  Thanks for making it Cashless

Fellow Humans were more or less decent in all Trial races so far. Nice :+1: Lots of peeps showing up in untuned stock variations though, considered it myself. Not been a problem with the AI stepping it down a notch too of course. The AI though, all over the road and even sideways when not actively blocking (ie ramming). Made passing them “fun”

My team in the trial was crushing it with no man/woman left behind. At around 85% completion of the first race, my team mate behind me decided he didn’t wanna be behind me anymore, despite the fact that there was nowhere to go in front of me without wiping out the leader, (some drunk in an all-power/no handling rocket). I let them be because we were winning as a TEAM, so was perfectly content to come in 2nd. Out of the blue, my team mate behind me decides it’s a good time to try a pit maneuver on…me. It worked. I spun out and quit the game, but not before seeing our fearless leader wreck; likely jarred from all the chaos and calamity behind him. GO TEAM!

First time trying one of Cashless’s tunes.

First impression; on the road, before the race starts, I’m not liking the feel. Feeling kind of mushy and sluggish.

In the race I felt like I was getting thumped on and bumped around like a soccer ball. Thinking this tune sucks.

And then I realized I was in second place. Then first. Then no one was behind me! Wow! Then I flubbed up and hit a wall. All my fault. I was back in sixth. In short order I was back in second and took first just before the last turn.

Second race, I hung back more and tried some different corner approaches just for fun to stay out of the rammers and slammers. With this tune it was easy to pick my way through the mess and easily finish in second just a car length behind.

Conclusion; Cashless has a winning tune here, I will definitely be trying more tunes.

Thank you for giving them a try! I put a lot of time into my tunes (track time, tweaking etc) but I do realize in the end they are probably tailored to my driving style and may not be for all. :woman_shrugging: I am glad you had success with them! :+1:

Was that the Datsun or Honda ? If it was the Datsun you gotta have a go with the Honda :+1: :+1: Both will do the dodge and weave, come from behind, and surprise everyone

And a funny thing happened on the way to my third Trial of the day (first time in ever that I did that for one)… I stumbled on Nursemorph’s tune for the Honda and figured I’d give it a whirl. FUN ! Worked nicely and I figured Cashless would have a ways to go to beat it. Especially given the “lower” looking stat diagram, but I said I’d run it so…

Fourth Trial of the day ! FUN ! ! Cashless delivered ! I think it performed better only because it better suited my driving. Nursemorph’s tune could be as great if I drove it more, and I like the more stock look, no aero :+1:

I’d say it’s a tie between the Honda tunes  Well done all around. I may run both more in the Trial this week  I don’t know what this thing is ? I keep calling it FUN !

@Not_Here_Too , Datsun

@CashlessPlains8 I guess now it is time to share some tunes for not OP cars. Do Tundra for me pls

@Tredawn I don’t know how your race looked and how much that pit-maneuver was planned, but…
If team is secure on points why not have some PvP racing? When I was reading your post it sounded in my head like you are totally against any racing and let’s just get job done and get out of here. Or did I misread it?
For me most Trials looks like this:
1.we are winning and team is good - I race PvP (edit: to make it clear - racing, not overtaking at all costs)
2.we are winning and team is bad - I just drive
3.we are losing and team is bad - I’m slowind down AI
4.we are losing and team is good - I just drive, sometimes will do nr3, just to initiate nr1
