Only 1 new option for this Trial vs back in the original the Kia and it’s a waste of time for circuits with the very specific + bad build it needs to be made B700, the Ioniq 5, N Vision and the racing car can’t be downgraded to it, new times in bold….

B Korea (Lookout Circuit)

I30N (TGM, FWD + slicks) – 54.855

i30N (TGM, FWD + rallies) - 55.222
Veloster (LogikJ, FWD + rallies) - 55.389
Veloster (TGM, AWD + stock tires) – 55.672
Kona (VNX Letz, FWD) - 55.881

Ioniq 6 (TGM) - 56.593

Kia EV6 GT (TGM, drags) – 57.508

I set a new PB with that slicks i30 but I wasn’t fully convinced by these given FWD is clearly better for flying lap times on their own (so M/MC will have an inherent advantage here too) so I decided to do this afterwards since Plaza is the 2nd course, hoping an actual race + longer length would make the differences become more apparent.

1st brackets are the race time when I took the lead, and 2nd the time that the fastest AI did….

Plaza Race vs Unbeatable

Veloster (TGM) – 4:39.246 (1st at 1:23) (2nd place 4:54.933)
I30N (slicks) – 4:40.748 (1st at 1:16) (2nd place 4:56.285)
I30N (rallies) – 4:42.708 (1st at 1:14) (2nd place 4:58.145)

Veloster (LogikJ) – 4:44.594 (1st at 1:30) (2nd place 5:00.097)
Kona – 4:45.662 (1st at 1:30) (2nd place 5:01.932)

Ioniq 6 – 4:47.630 (1st at 1:34) (2nd place 5:02.616)
Kia EV6 GT – 4:48.455 (1st at 1:25) (2nd place 5:05.660)

Couple of oddities during this test, turns out Korea is not an option in create blueprint despite countries being one of the categories, and through those 7 races I think I ended up in 4 different places when dropped back into the map after finishing one :man_shrugging:

I do have the rallies i30N already shared from the original (991 437 348) but I’ll probably share the Veloster on Wednesday too, more forgiving and straightforward to drive for most players than the FWD ones.

Yeah the KIA is a pain in the behind and a bit odd. I really did not expect the forza aero to go where they stuck it.

Its really annoying that you can’t fit stratos look a like rims in B class to complete the look kia went for with the ev6.

Still i kind of feel like running it in an Alitalia livery for a laugh…

The Swedish translation says bank 10 000 skill score on the Lunar Drift Arena on the stadium, not 100 000 so of course it would not complete for me.
Please have a look on your translations, they often contain errors like this sadly.

This week, done and done.

I let some…driver… in the ioniq6 on what seemed like drags (given the inability to turn any corner) bug me enough over the two events it took to win as a team that I took the low ground. Woops, missed my breaking point a few times. Just a nuisance

PR stunts, rimac2 stock was grand, tho it didn’t reach the highway ST speed, needed an upgrade. Maybe just me.

Stock it needs the gears lengthened to up its top speed to its max 286mph. No parts req. :+1:

That’s how little I look at tuning. Sighs.

Next game…

No worries. I should have added: from a purist view changing the gearing would not be stock, and the game does consider it tuned.

I hope everyone has/will find something entertaining outside of the playlist this week

Just wanna put this out there for those attempting to beat Sewer Races eventlab, make sure you reset your position at the very start otherwise it will place you as last even if you pass the AI drivers. Took me several attempts to figure out what was going on

I have seen this reported, but for me there was no problem so don’t know what the problem might be, I just raced normal race and everything seemed as it should be.

Could also be because of difficulty settings, on Expert or lower you should start the race normally. Very low difficulties like Tourist will consider you as having missed the checkpoint and reset you, but if you attempt this event on Pro or Unbeatable difficulties you will start at lap 0 while your opponents start at lap 1. That means you have to complete a total of four laps including lap 0 while your opponents only have to do three, making it impossible to finish higher than 11th.

My immediate workaround was again to change to tourist difficulty which puts you second on the starting grid, far enough to consider you as missing the starting checkpoint at which point the game will reset you and you will begin lap 1. Having experimented further playing this race on Expert will again not cause any issues, though others have suggested immediately pausing and resetting the car position.

I’d have to check my recording to be sure, but I did it in co-op and it seemed to be fine, except the race order only was correct after the first checkpoint. Well, and also for the leader getting taken out by oncoming cars and I somehow slipped through it all for the win, lol.

Reminded me of a Carmageddon: Rogue Shift route - without the weapons and zombies of course.

When we co-op’d it as 3 players it was fine, when we replayed it after the 4th friend joined, I started lap 0.

Definitely was a problem last time as well.

Arrived at the Plaza Circuit and before me the sight 4/5 drivers with speech bubbles above them saying “Look Out” and of course then they all barged into each other at the first corner, lol. I wish I recorded that.

Yeah, I fell afoul at the Creative lab one. Lost a lap out of nowhere. Don’t know what I did wrong.
