Given the limited choice here I just re-ran them all, Tony’s RC F being the only tune that was also in the original….

A Lexus (Granjas De Tapalpa)

LC500 (TGM) – 2:28.382 (SC 126 143 354)

RC F (TonyKartRcr) - 2:29.491
SC300 (Izzumnizzum) – 2:29.566

LFA (TGM) – 2:31.644
RC F Track Ed. (LogikJ) – 2:31.952

LC500 (Dannis6217) – 2:35.822 (barely turns, been shared 12 times in total since 23rd May last year)

Just shared my LC500 before going off, it’s on Stock tires but just about has enough grip with the other upgrades I’ve added + the tuning, I won’t pretend Rallies doesn’t feel nicer but the extra power/less weight from staying on the Stocks makes the LC500 much faster, I still wasn’t sure about it though so ran it on Horizon Callejera the 2nd track too, did 1:56.283 there which isn’t blisteringly fast but top 1000 which is good for a GT Car, had it been over 2 minutes I’d have binned the tune.

Tony’s RC F very stable and holds it’s speed well, again says plenty that it’s the only tune I thought was worth keeping from the original, Izzum’s SC300 a bit more explosive and quicker out of the blocks but a tad unwieldy, pretty much nothing between them ultimately though.

LFA and RC F Track Edition are just not very good cars full stop, you know the phrase you can’t polish a…yeah.

And the last one…well that’s just one of those all-around with no attempt to polish it, knew I was in for an experience as soon as I heard the Racing V12 engine swap :joy:

a shame really, wanted to use the RC F T after having a nice time with it in the FM spec series, but the LC500 I quickly threw together was effortlessly 3s faster on the first try :sob:

Honestly with my bog standard tunes I had a much easier time vs unbeatable with the track edt but that was only compared to the LFA and SC300 and I wasn’t really paying much attention to times. VS the SC300 its quite possible that I was doing better with worse times due to how the AI sometimes act. The LFA isn’t awful but having gotten used to having front aero all the time over the last few months it was more of a handful than I wanted. If the weekly had called for street races rather than road races I would definitely used the LFA for time efficiency.

Of course saying all that, if you don’t have any particular attraction to any car then following TGM’s results is the best bet.

Anyway another toyota season bar the Nissan championship.
