and an X class stunt (speed trap) on hot wheels - interesting

Didn’t anticipate the wet roads but it didn’t seem to have much of an impact on the races.

Had originally planned to use the AM DBS but decided to make it more interesting with the AM DBR1.

Most of the races are wet this week despite it being “dry season”. Definitely something people should be aware of when choosing their car.

Urrghhh!!! The two year olds were in the Trial lobby this morning.

I know this by their motto.

“If you can’t beat them clean, smash into them and be outright mean”.

I seriously hate these type of players.

I will admit i T Boned that particular player into a bend after they shunted me into corners several times and push me off track twice.

stock options, series 41 “Horizon Holidays Mix-Up”, week 2 winter/dry season

[loose basis for approach; cheapest car that’ll do the stunts, least-driven car for races]

weekly “Wheeler Dealer” – Morgan 3 Wheeler

trial “Bragging Rights” – Jaguar XKR-S '15 (beat 4 robots then 3)

eventlab “Matterhorn Raceway” – #20 MG MG6 (liked it; rather “Bernese Alps” to say the least)

eventlab “Sierra Verde Raceway” – Lexus LC 500 '21 (not bad)

games “We Three Kings” – Ariel Nomad (bad car but I did okay)

danger sign “San Juan Jump” – Toyota Celica’94 (easy; 118.75 m)

speed zone “River Run” – Ford Mustang SVO (not too hard; 95.87 mph)

championship “Yule Ready for This!” – Mazda RX-7 ‘97 (easy or fairly easy wins)

championship “Christmas Commute” – Ford Focus ‘22 (easy wins)

championship “Braving the Cald” – Ford Escort '67 (slightly tricky wins)

RA drift zone “Canyon Sweep” – Ford Mustang SVO (do not like that zone; 108,510)

RA championship “Feeling Crafty” – #122 AC Class 1 (easy wins)

HW speed trap “Forest Edge” – Venom F5 (fairly easy; 300.87 mph)

HW championship “Caught in a Loop” – Jaguar LW E-Type (easy wins)

Bloody hell this post made me feel old…

Nothing of note to speak of here really, saw my teammates for just a few seconds in total (fortunate starting positions for once), ahead of the AI quickly then just made sure of no mistakes, basically 5 minutes of steady driving with 11 other cars happening to be having a race at the same time.

Was going to use my XKR tune but changed last minute to the XJ13 also with my own tune, just like the event itself nothing special, could have done with front aero but can’t fit it into A class with AWD + Rallies.

Looking forward to trying @Abell_370 's Lagonda at some point, never even tested that car during the week.

So I got the E55 after the above and went to check the designs out, AbsorbedSpy isn’t part of what I’m about to say by the way he’s just on my friends list…

Apart from the German Cab one how does such low effort spam end up so popular? These 2 people have made stuff even I could make with my non-existent artistic ability.

This isn’t like tunes where a spammer can fool clueless and unaware people with good looking face stats or tune names, everyone can see exactly what they’re getting with a design.

It’s a stretch to even call them that when all they have done is just painted the car and tinted the windows.

I don’t even know who I’d put the blame on for this, because yeah those 2 people must have no shame and be desperate for attention to quickly churn multiple instances of such lazy garbage out but the thousands of people downloading them enable it.

I’ve no idea why they’d be popular downloads but I recall doing something similar when chasing accolades until I realised that accolades were a waste of my time.
