I have zero course knowledge too. Used to race without racing line but after being away for many months, I just turn it on and do lazy racing. Didn’t bother to look at the mini map too, crashed into the wall on both V turns on the 2nd track thinking they were 90 degrees, didn’t bomb anyone, just made my car look crappy. Was able to comeback into 2nd after rewinding to the rear thanks to the many turns on that track which gave ppl a harder time though.
Ive been busy with the new nfs the past few days but when i get back into forza ill give your tunes a try.
Also if you want to try out a few of my tunes if their are any that you like i can share the tuning parameters. I find its good to see what others are doing for their tunes to see what im doing different and if theres room for improvement.
Many thanks! ![]()
I may take you up on that offer, I definitely think that could benefit me…![]()

My personal online tune. This tune can do a 1:07 at Baja scramble and has over a 60% win rate. This tune is excellent for both circuits and trails.

It’s fast and handles good enough to get the job done. Very easily I might add.

Well it is what it is… It gets the job done and it’s just as boring as a D class race can be.

Tip for the “Holden on Tight” Daily Forzathon: if you photograph the 1974 Holden Sandman HQ Panelvan near the El Arco de Cabo San Lucas at sunset, you’ll also unlock the “Corazon Contento” Accolade (Creative). There are other Accolades in that group that may be completed in combo depending on which Holden you choose.
I had a really good tour. S1 Modern Supercars. One of my team mates even sent me a gg. Whatever the game, the Gallardo Sl always delivers. ![]()
I ran a bunch of tour races today and definitely enjoyed all of those races. Got to use some different cars and the racing was clean.
I ran a tour, c class retro rally. 3 start including myself. The stock tune quits in race 1. The other quit after race 2. Freeroam rush across the entire map between each race was a bit much. It took several minutes each time.
I was playing around with the Venom a bit more at the danger sign and got a new pb. There’s more in it too.
Nice work, says something when a 2700’ jump puts you in the 150k’s. Old chart topper was 33 miles, maybe 11, I forget.
Better turn up the wick on that Hennessy. ![]()

@T10ManteoMax
Since this is playlist this week, could you send this to Torben, just so he can realize how good these engaged players really are?
It is a trivial task for a mid-level developer/data specialist to remove such impossible entries from the database. Now that there are apparently some anti-cheat measures deployed with the latest update, there is no excuse left not to purge this nonsense. If someone on the team says that it’s too hard or too time-consuming then they are either incompetent or lazy, or both, period.
I’ve done tickets. Zip.
Looks like first 1000 are in 9000’ range, I lost interest.
D103 tune with a top 500 jump and a 2100 player, the 102999 levels too, though I know some real scores getting close.
It shouldn’t be hard. It should be preventable.
It’s dejecting to make good effort, and be rewarded with ZERO.
Like having a board complain all the time.
The answers to both are in Torben/Mike’s hands.
Max is the messenger, put in a lightning rod place.
This issue deserves a PR flak. A “We hear you, we’re on it” human, from the C-suite. Not a video, or scrolling questions. Or tweets. Bottle up and face it.
Got the woody pretty quickly this week. Noticed that the upgraded NA intake on the fully upgraded stock engine was better than a basic turbo or a fully upgraded supercharger. Not sure I’ve ever run into that before in these games.
Honestly, that is probably more realistic than some of the “upgrades” for other cars. A tiny 4 banger with mostly stock parts wouldn’t take boost very well in reality.
Yeah, in reality, putting a turbo on would require some basic pre work. If they did their homework, adding just the turbo should automatically add some prior upgrades. I would say, minimal, addition of just the turbo should automatically upgrade the exhaust, intake, and ignition. That is if nothing else has been done yet.
To me it would indicate that the stock intake is highly restrictive and the turbo and supercharger options are small. I find it odd too particularly since you stated otherwise the engine is fully upgraded. I can’t recall Horizon ever being concerned with that though. I remember some cars where the base turbo didn’t add much. I’ll have to pay attention to the intake upgrade next time I run into it.
Forced induction should realistically require/include some other upgrades at least on engines not originally equipped. Maybe some of that is assumed. It would be nice to have it reflected in the options.
Edit: adding forced induction does remove any intake manifold upgrade. With a non-upgraded engine the intake is still higher hp/torque.
- In the game. -
Adding the turbo was probably done be a mathematically competent programmer with no automotive background. Who just figured a percentage of x for the turbo upgrade and and y for the NA upgrade and plugged those algorithms into the game without any testing and without any consulting services from a qualified automotive adviser.
