Not a lot of wiggle room this week on the “factory tune”, so not much in the way of HP upgrades this week, basically just drag tires! @robotiChart pointed out the drag tires may not be the best for circuits, so use at your own risk! :joy: The factory car works just fine!

I’ve been waiting for the Unimog.:metal:

A 4th and a 2nd. First circuit is not a fav of mine. Kept the ai behind.

Second, the guys in front fought amongst themselves till half thru.

Dunno if drag tyres work on the circuits cashless

A couple new vinyl groups this week!

For the Forzathon car:

Livery share code:
775 108 094
I actually planned on doing two cobras, but ran out of time. I hope to have the other cobra for next week. It’s the more generic one. This one was more specific.
Cobra logo vinyl group:
965 676 653

And for the trial car… the debut of the Queen crest vinyl group:

Livery share code:
109 437 775

Vinyl group share code:
601 725 754

The actual vinyl group is black, but you can change the color to whatever suits you (as seen above on the livery.)

I called it “Reina Crest” because Queen is forbidden. (King… is not.) Also some part of Freddie Mercury is also off limits.

Serious bunch of cretins in my first trial attempt. The tracks might not have helped but deliberately putting people into walls or deciding slowing down for corners is best achieved by crashing into teammates is a player issue. The difficult AI need to come back so these people fail the Trial because even driving like they were the win was happening easily.

For the Trial I used this livery I found

Worth a shot… But it didn’t work, at least as far as I could tell. I got rammed the usual amount. Next week I’ll go by looks again when picking something.

Seems last week was an anomaly, AI was back to their usual rubbish self here.

Apologies to the teammate I messaged sarcastically after the first race, you weren’t ‘that 1 idiot I always get in my team whenever on Cathedral who flies into the first corner’.

I hold my hands up and admit my mistake, Plaza made it clear afterwards it wasn’t exclusive to Cathedral and you were just an idiot full stop, flying into every corner with no attempt at braking, ending up with 0pts and being DNF’ed off me.

I didn’t see it but just before I finished I am certain from the scoreboard that they missed a checkpoint just to try and take a teammate out, they flew up 3-4 places within a couple of seconds to just behind another team member only to have fallen back down to last after I’d finished.

Worst ‘teammate’ I have had for quite some time and yet they end up being rewarded the same as me and the other 2 people in the team who actually drove properly.

Further reiteration as to why I don’t even waste my time with the Trial anymore.
And @Laberbacke: I think that just helps make you more of a target for the caliber of players you’re encountering. SMH

I thought about that as well. But it looked just like the normal ramming.

Thanks for the feedback! I made an edit in my tune thread noting it… FWIW, I did test this and I had better times with the tune but I often wonder if it’s because I am more familiar with the track after tweaking tunes…:woman_shrugging:

Thanks for the support!

Dat unimog. Lmao. Some bus.

Watched the ai do a slomo rollover on the first race.

I might try the tune afterwards in rivals, could very well be my driving doesn’t suit. Not a big fan of those circuit tracks anyway

Garbage teammates this week. Rammed out of first place both races by people with no brakes and no course knowledge! :woman_facepalming:

This week in particular there are few upgrades available to stay within 626 PI. Upgrading suspension loses all wheel steering. Upgrading diff loses torque vectoring. Besides very modest weight reductions, drag tires are one of few viable options. I’m not a fan of drags either, but my tune also had drags, since stock tires were noticeably slower, even considering how poorly drags typically do on circuits.

Totally agree! :+1: That was the same conundrum I faced. :slightly_smiling_face: With the suspension and differential “upgrades” my tune was much slower. :woman_shrugging:

Looks like not every Aston Martin is counting for treasure hunt. Valhalla didn’t work, 2019 Vantage did (3 stars not required).
