I don’t think he’s fast at all and like Phil probably only recently started playing the game. The community folks are seasoned veterans as they’ve been playing forever, so it’s good to have someone to beat on what I hope this time will be a decent car and track selection!

I’m gonna say VIR in a Ford GT, so we can all try to beat both Hartman’s time and the time the ZR-1 just set that knocked the GT from the podium.

Plus, it’s a track most of the community seems to hate, so naturally, that’s where they’re going to go.

Why all the hate for VIR? I love that track. It’s been my 2nd favorite since it came out in FM6. Went to the weather tech race there & was equally impressed with the real thing. I just wish it was a tad wider.

It’s a poor man’s Nürburgring, which is why it’s featured in the Lightning Lap in the first place.

It’s also very difficult to drive at night and, in the layouts featuring the infield, it’s stupidly hard to overtake without causing chaos.

The infield works well as a standalone in the Patriot layout but the Grand layouts miss one of the best parts of VIR, which is that quick sequence of S-turns past the bridge.

VIR full is one of the beet tracks in the game. Any of the variants… not so much.
