What is your guys favorite car CURRENTLY in your Forza Horizon Garage. Mine is the Mercedes Benz 300sl Gullwing
The 2023 BMW M2 with a @PlageBLN livery and tune
1963 vw beetle
1965 mini cooper…I win road, street, dirt, and CC races with it lol. It’s small but mighty.
That’s a hard question!
The Quattro S1, for being one of the most legendary rally cars of all time. Failing that, the Lancia Stratos, for being…hmm, I’m sensing a pattern here. And I know it’s an incredibly boring answer, but the Jesko, because come on.
I think it’s Chevrolet Nova Super Sport 1969. Very cabable in C600 class and it reminds me of Axel Foley ride. I also made a white top livery with some permanent dirt to it, just to give it that certain look.
[Jenny Summers]
“I remember you used to drive that cr@ppy blue Chevy Nova.”
[Jenny Summers]
“What are you driving now?”
[Axel Foley]
“Same cr@ppy blue Chevy Nova.”
The 2013 RS7, one of my dream cars
Datsun 510 with @CashlessPlains8 “Dirty Datsun” tune for B dirt. It’s a blast.
I need to work up a new livery for it. The Gulf livery is messed up because some of the lines that are straight in the editor end up wonky when driving it around.
Not that easy to answer this question.
More or less 4 cars that are equally at the top.
A800 Porsche 356 that’s just this tiny & cute thing but an absolute weapon on the right tracks. It’s my most used & most successfull car.
A800 TVR Griffith and Cadillac CT4-V for how marvelous they drive. Right amount of power/grip, lively enough to throw them around.
A800 RJAnderson Pro4Truck for Dirt. Imho the best offroad suspension in the entire game which makes this maschine a precision tool despite its size.
I agree, with close to 800 cars, this is definitely a tough question to answer. The Ferraris have to be at the top of my list for favorites overall, with McLaren & Pagani not far behind. Guess it also depends on what I’m using it for. If there’s a “smashable” challenge, I always grab my Trailcat with one of the first designs I did from FH4. (It also has the unique ability to do a reverse barrel-roll as shown )
For the track, the Jag XJR-15, Lambo Essenza & Pagani Huayra R are a few favorites from their performance to unique engine sounds & cockpits.
Have to go by class as I don’t have any outright favourite overall…
D - Bugatti T35 C (Dirt, my own tune)
Slow as molasses and stays static on launch for about a second lol but such a smooth drive.
C - Ford Capri (Road/Street, XIII90/my own tune), Bentley Blower (Dirt, my own tune)
Popularised by the TV show Minder over here, great looking car still but rarely ever seen being driven by anyone in the game, only just tuned it myself but XIII’s tune is very nice for it and is what I’ve used on it for a long time previously.
Bentley is very simple, I created it myself, it’s something different and it’s done many great times for me.
B - Merc 300SL (Road/Street, Rocklxd tune), Ferrari 250 GTO (Road/Street, Mustuff124 tune) Aston Martin DB5 (CC, my own tune)
All incredibly beautiful with a lot of history behind them all and the 300SL + 250 GTO are my go to Open cars, reliably good choices on almost all courses in Road/Street.
DB5 is a left field choice for CC but it’s genuinely good + fun to drive.
A - DaVinci (Road, Marina RG tune), Ford GT40 '64 (Dirt, UnworthyPleb tune)
It’s awful performance wise but for some reason I love driving this car every time, sums it up that the best road tune I’ve ever found for it is one with Offroad tires on lol, one of those Clarkson moments, this is better (everything else) but I like this (DaVinci).
Don’t really think I need to explain the GT40 to anyone who saw my A Gauntlet thread, honourable mention to the '68 Firebird here as well with TheDannny’s tune.
S1 - Saleen S1 (Road/Street, my own tune) (Dirt, UnworthyPleb tune)
No contest here whatsoever, was the best in my big S1 Gauntlet test a while ago being the only car to break the 18 minute barrier, and before that was also the car that finally got me into learning to tune myself after 10+ years of never bothering in any FH game, and that tune got me to a top 10 time on a RA board.
S2 - NIO EP9 (Road/Street, AMS Carver tune), Venom F5 (Dirt/CC, KapienPL tune)
Very situational car (ie rubbish on any power course) but great fun and again not really seen much, put it on the right track and it’s like a silent bullet.
Venom with that tune is just bonkers but actually very capable if you can control it, much more interesting than seeing the millionth CLK/911 GT1 in S2 Dirt/CC too.
X - Any car I don’t like but that can be upgraded to it so it doesn’t take up space amongst the cars I might potentially use at some point.
Kept seeing this on the LBs as I’ve been running C class dirt & thinking I needed to see what that’s about. Is your tune shared? If so, will definitely give it a try at some point as you’ve logged some great times with it.
Yeah it’s shared, I originally used the first dirt tune you see if you search for C class ones but went back to it not long ago and made my own one then improved all my times with it.
Top speed is poor but everything else is good.
Thanks, Ren. Quite the honor.
I’ve mine at B 700 and the Gmünd Coupe at A 800. Both are great.
I don’t really have a real favorite but the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe is presumaby my most used and most succesful one.
That’s a hard one. I have favorites which I gravitate to, but not one definitive favorite.
Mitsubishi Evo VIII MR - My favorite of the Evos in the game. With every Horizon game since FH3 I have a ritual where I paint mine black and turn it into a rally build. Used to use it as a PR stunt mule for a while
Ferrari Enzo Ferrari - One of my favorite supercars of all time and quite fun for cruising
Jaguar C-X75 - Another one of my favorite supercars which is another go-to for cruising
Forumla Drift BMW 325i - My go-to drift zone and arcade drift mule and favorite of the FD cars
Rockstar F-150 trophy truck - It always flips over after landing from big jumps which is annoying, but it’s otherwise my favorite of the trophy truck designs in the game
Lamborghini Huracan STO - I don’t pay much attention to new and upcoming Lambos, but admittedly this one grew on me after I unlocked it from the playlist
1986 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat - Cool 80’s pickup and fun for offroading
Hoonigan Cossie V2 - Even though it’s handed to you in the early game and has nearly half the power of the og Hoonigan Cossie, the widebody is sick and it slides nicely into A class
Hoonigan Scumbug - imo it’s cooler than the brown 1969 Baja bug
Dingo Stock Racing Bug - Probably not very competitive, but otherwise I love the design of it, especially being a 70’s Beetle on jacked up suspension and chonky tires
Hennessey Velociraptor 6x6 - Admittedly it’s really understeery and I can’t imagine it’s competitive, but still a novelty to take out for a spin since it’s an absolute unit
That’s a good tribute car for me since it was my Grandmother’s last car. She loved that car and so did my Mom who got the car when Grandmother passed. I could have had the car but wasn’t into the Japanese car culture so Mom sold it.
Of course my favorite car is the one I waited for for so long. The Fiat Abarth 124 and the older Fiat 124. Oh wait, that’s two. Oh well.
My favorite is the Mercedes Hammer
