So is it still true that the only way to mod a car’s graphic is via the paint program in the game?
This is a major disappointment. And a waste of time. What takes hours in paint shop would take only minutes in illustrator or Photoshop.
I just started this yesterday, and the graphics and physics are nice, better than AC by a tier level (except for actual vehicle control, AC rules in that Dept).
But if I can’t graphically alter the appearance of something with real graphics tools, I’m going to check out, and not come back. Kind of a bummer. I wonder if this is a parameter set by Microsoft?
The only upload ive seen was my game tag pic showed up in load vinyl shapes, dont know how its got in there, so maybe change game tag pic to want you want. Do know how to do that.
would love to make unique designs but i havent got the time to do them.
Then why am I seeing that’s says that’s its created by player and not by the developers tj there has to be a way for us to upload to we can use our own designs

ATLEAST FOR A LITTLE WHILE UNTIL OTHERS START USING THE SAME VINYL BUT IM A HUGE MARVIN THE MARTIAN FAN AND WOULD LOVE TO GET THAT PUT ON CERTAIN CARS I OWN. No Tomninnin was well known for spending a long time getting their vinyls almost photo realistic. They do (I believe) trace parts of it though, tracing is done by using a pc to overlay a semi transparent image over the game and then using shapes to block out sections to get the size/perspective/position correct but then doing the shading etc you have to do that by eye.

for accurate logos i prefer to use a thin paper like trace or parchment paper to trace from a large screen and then tape over the vinyl editor. has saved me a bunch of time on logos countless times
