I recently bought the Logitech G and Hot Wheels car packs and on the X Box store it specifically says I’m entitled to a free addition of each car without having to gather credits for it.
For some reason, I can’t get the cars for free but the game knows I have the Car Packs as I could still buy the cars in-game with credits. I have explained and discussed the issue in detail four times with X Box support on twitter and the X Box support chat but no-one has been able to resolve the issue.
I have now been been told by a manager in the X Box support chat to contact a moderator here to solve the problem. I can provide a screengrab ofpart of our conversation where she states that the car packs are added to my account and acknowledges that I should be entitled to the cars without having to use credits.
It’s now been five days since I first reported the problem and no-one has been able to help. I’ve not been able to use the pack and I am getting very frustrated. Ideally I would just like the problem solved but as that doesn’t seem to be possible, I would like to either receive enough in-game credits to allow me to use the cars, or reluctantly, a full refund for the DLCs as the goods sold are not fit for purpose.
The moderators here are volunteers so definitely cant do refunds
You dont pay direct to turn 10
You pay to xbox or Microsoft so therefore ONLY xbox support or Microsoft support can handle refunds
Maybe they mean the xbox or Microsoft forums
But to be honest the amount of credits you earn in this game is ridiculous and you will have more than you need in no time
I actually wish i had to pay ingame credits for the car pack cars so i had something to spend the credits on
Race some, go up a few levels, all the prize spins will give you all the money you will ever need. It really is pretty ridiculous, the amount of credits that just get thrown at you for pretty much nothing.
Huge difference from the earlier games, where you had to actually put in some effort to save up the credits for that 10,000,000 classic you wanted…
Still, if something is advertised/supposedly programmed to work a certain way, it is a disappointment if it doesn’t.
