Hey all. I don’t delve much into the world of painting but I had a few ideas mulling around in my head and figured I’d share some stuff I came up with. Not quite as extravagant as some of the amazing designs I’ve seen around here but I’m happy with how these turned out.
Say what you will about Deadmau5, I like his music, to each his own. I liked the design of the album cover of his last album While (1<2) so I spent a few hours tediously copying and pasting several lines to create the mau5 head. The Mau5trap logo took significantly less time. Originally I had done this design in Forza 5 but the car was white and the design was black. Due to a glitch I couldn’t import that livery and had to redo the car from scratch, fortunately I was able to import the original layer group so I didn’t have to spend too much time redoing it. It’s a lot more simplistic than the original but I think it looks much better as it’s not as busy.
This one was a lot of fun to do and is a tribute to one of my favorite episodes of The Simpsons. I’m very pleased with how it turned out, and especially pleased with how Mr. Sparkle looks.
I’ll probably add more in the future, I’ve got some ideas for an Anjunabeats themed car but I’m not sure where I want to go with it. Any constructive feedback is welcome.
Edit: New Car: Ferrari 599 GTO It’s Artificial Tribute Car
Introducing my first Anjunabeats themed car, It’s Artificial by Andrew Bayer, probably one of the best electronic albums I’ve ever heard and one of my favorite albums of all time. A majority of the cover itself and liner notes are pretty simple in design which is why most of the car features muted colors and simple polygons, I know it looks rather bland but I try to keep it true to the reference material. The only thing I really had a hard time with was the mountain range featured in the middle of the main design.
