Just bought my brand new Fanatec CSL wheel with SQ Shifter and V1.5 Handbrake…
After finding out that the handbrake is NOT supported at all in FM5 or 6 I was just little bit* (Sarcastic) furious.
I was holding out hope for FM7/X1X but there seems to be absolutely no information about whether or not it is or will be supported.
Has anyone tested or read anything about the Fanatec Handbrake working in FM7 on X1X or PC?
I made my handbrake and it works via USB on pc, I don’t know how the fanatec handbrake connects, but so far it seems like wheels are registered as a controller on FM7, when I’m on mine it shows all the keybindings as keyboard keys.
I just got word back from the official Fanatac support and they say that FM7 as well as all the other Forzas don’t support analog handbrakes on the xbox which is why it is “highly unlikely that T10 will implement the support in the future”.
Sucks b***s, I know…
