Clubsport handbrake on XB1?

Can anybody confirm if the Clubsport handbrake works yet on XB1?

Yes the Fanatec handbrake works with Xbox one but if you’re asking does it work with FM7 no it does not. For whatever reason at this time it is not supported once again. It works fine on other titles like Dirt and AC, very disappointing.

This is fake news.

Dude grow up, your Xbox isn’t even on, and the question is about Xbox.

It doesn’t work, as the other guy is playing on PC, which allows for more modifications, considering you can play pretty much any game with bananas.

If your comment is suggesting that my reply to your original post is “fake” then you are sadly mistaken. I have a complete fanatec setup including handbrake and the handbrake is not supported on FM titles (Xbox) and unfortunately this includes FM7. The clip does show that someone was able to mod their setup and that’s all it shows. If anyone has a handbrake working on FM7 (Xbox one) please post. I see no option to map handbrake to an analog axis handbrake.

No YOU are the one who is mistaken, lol. I didn’t mod anything, I plugged my handbrake into my pedals and dialled in my deadzones and it works, just like all the other titles i use it with.

I cant be bothered installing it again on my xbo when I’m not playing it there, but just because it doesn’t work for you on your device doesn’t mean the game doesn’t support it

I guess these are photoshopped though too ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Did you just post PC screenshots as proof that the handbrake works on XB1?

Lol it has nothing go do with modifications FYI you can’t mod Windows Store titles anyways so your point is moot right there. Forza 7 works with a handbrake it has the capability too, now if there is something on the xbo limiting the capability to use it, that I dunno.

No I didn’t, I posted pics of fm7 accepting an analogue handbrake as a retort to the statement of FM7 doesnt work with it, clearly the game has the capability, does it work with OPs platform? I’unno as I said I cant be bothered downloading it again but as I stated the game has the capability for it to work.

It’s not a question of getting it to work on my device or not. There’s simply no option/menu on the Xbox one version of the game to map handbrake to analog axis handbrake, believe me if there was it would work just like it does on other titles/games that I play. I answered your question the best I could based on real time experience with FM7. My apologies for any perceived insult.

Ok so now I’m confused.

One person says it does work on The Xbox version of FM7,and another says it does not :slightly_frowning_face:

I have a Full Fanatec Clubsport system I use on my Xbox One. For the shifter and handbrake to work I must plug them to the Clubsport base. It works Great with games like Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 2 and Dirt 4 But with FM7 the Fanatec ClubSport HandBrake DOES NOT work on Xbox that I can confirm. As For PC Version I cannot confirm until i upgrade my computer. If anyone can confirm the handbrake works on PC I would appreciate.

This would be an excellent addition. Perhaps the difference in support between PC and Xbox is at the OS level.

It’s hugely annoying that the cs handbrake is not.supported by Forza on xb1 . Pretty sad when every other racing title has support on xb1…

I agree, not having the handbrake support for fanatec clubsport handbrake v1.5 on Xbox 1 is a bit ridiculous considering the game has been out for some time… Support is needed for this, they even have multiplayer “drift” hoppers… how you suppose to drift properly? sure you can use the brake but it does not allow for proper constant throttle control, and is just not realistic

@turn10

Still awaiting some feedback on if/when the fanatec handbrake will be supported for xbox on forza 7 - Please provide some sort of update even if its a simple no we will not support it and do not plan to support it so the community can plan accordingly, thanks!

I have been playing Forza with a wheel since the FM4 days with countless hours of racing fun. As other racing titles were released with the support and ability to map the handbrake to a analog handbrake, like the CS Fanatec handbrake, I thought it was just a matter of time before Forza also implemented what was already an industry standard in the racing game genre. The years have gone by and with each new release of FM the hope of handbrake support is the first thing on my mind. The lead up to FM7 was so hopeful with developer talk of increased wheel support and more importantly the release of a PC version, where there’s a higher percentage of wheel users, but unfortunately for console users once again no handbrake support. I’ve posted several times with my disappointment on this subject so I realize I’m beating a dead horse. It’s time to move on to FM8 and start the hoping and wishing process once again. I really appreciate the work and time ManteoMax puts into this forum and the Forza community he servers so passionately, if you happen to see and read this post and you happen to have an opportunity to (within the right circles) inquire if “Handbrake support” is being considered for FM8, we the small community of console wheel users would love to know/hear anything whatsoever.

Well they finally did it, the new update brings fanatec handbrake support!

So does the handbrake work as a stand alone or do you need the whole fantec set up?

Once a report of success on Xbox One and I’m spending money lol

I have a clubsport handbrake that i use for pc with my thrustmaster tx setup and i was wondering if anyone knows if i can just plug it into the xbox via the usb adapter and get it to work
