So, Forza Motorsport facebook page started a sort of community rivals event with a stock 16 Viper ACR at the ring. Can’t comment photos there, so creating a place for people to post.
Edit: For those curious, my event settings included fixed time at noon, 100% starting dynamic rubber, sport rules, 1x tire wear, no assists, and on a wheel with shifter rig. 7:09.058.
I think the best of the best can crack into the 7:07’s with a flawless lap, especially on controller since the Viper is default tuned for understeer and very easy to drive at the limit. My best standing start for lap 1 was a 7:10.6.
I see they speak about some rewards for completing it. Any ideas of which are these?
And how to submit the result if we do not have fb or social media accounts?

^^^^^From their statement, sounds like driver suit most likely, or maybe a livery.

7.06.190 using the criteria in your opening post, save that I use ABS and I had to run in Manual because I’ve never learnt how to drive MC properly in this game. Was on low 7.05 pace but messed up the difficult right hander slightly at the end.
Given it felt like I was losing significant time every gear change, and there’s people a lot faster than me anyway, I’d have thought sub 7 would probably be possible.

I see the best time in rivals using it is 7.04.8. Assuming that’s with stock settings, that is probably faster than I could go with a full fuel tank. I’ll try a few laps against it tomorrow though and see if I can get anywhere near.
I did a 7:12 with MC in rivals.
