Will you be able to use the cars in normal forza horizon 2 or just in the fast and furious thing?

Cars are pre-tuned. NO upgrades and NO tuning. The cars don’t transfer into FH2
It’s a bit pointless then. Was looking forward to painting the supra with the RMM lip and big Exhaust. And the fact it was Paul Walkers personal supra.

Everyone keeps asking if the cars will go over to the main game. What people need to realize and I know it really wasn’t stated clearly, but the expansion is really more of it’s own game with it’s own achievements and own Forza rewards. It’s a way to market both the movie and Horizon 2 and give those that may not own Horizon 2 a chance to drive a bigger part of the map than the demo. So think of it as just an expanded demo for $10 after April 4th. Until then, it’s free and that’s good for everyone. It provides a few hours of new fun with new cars.

Wow, that’s kinda of a disappointment. I would have rather they had just made a Fast and Furious Car Pack for FH2. I would have bought that. You can see by looking the paints for the Fast and Furious cars that ARE in FH2 that people want the actual cars. Turn 10 is missing out on making some good money there.
Also there is ALREADY a Forza Horizon 2 Demo so this is nothing more than a movie promotion especially since the races and even the gameplay is different than in the actual FH2.
Not complaining about free stuff…this just isn’t something I don’t know if I can get around to (if the cars don’t transfer), mainly because I am so deep into the main game, and haven’t started Storm Island yet. Also, Never got into F&F as I was a gearhead before that and always looked at that “acting” as horrible.
But, thanks to Turn 10 for free stuff! It IS appreciated.

Ok guys, I might get a decent amount of flack for hating on something we got for free, but I’m just going to go ahead and say it. As it stands, this expansion SUCKS. Now before you go ahead and hate on me, saying how I shouldn’t complain as it’s free… But it isn’t free, the pack after the first week is $10. We were told that we were getting a Fast and Furious DLC that was a Forza Horizon 2 expansion, and what we got was a demo for Horizon 2 with F&F cars thrown in that we can’t paint, tune, upgrade or even drive in the main game. If I payed 10 dollars for this, I would be tempted to try and get my money back, because all they gave us was a long interactive commercial.

We were never told it was an expansion to Horizon 2. What we were told is that it would be using part of the Horizon 2 map as a stand alone game and that you do not have to own Horizon 2 to get it. That statement right there should have told you that nothing would cross over into Horizon 2 because for that to happen, you have to own Horizon 2. It’s more or less a promo for Furious 7 and a bigger demo for those who haven’t yet purchased Horizon 2 and want a little taste of how the game looks and feels, minus the NOS.

I love that we got a free DLC, but the fact that the cars aren’t available in the actual Horizon 2 game? That’s pretty stupid. I’ve been waiting for a month with baited breath to buy a Maserati Quattroporte and now I guess I never get one because it’s standalone micro-DLC only? That’s pretty crappy, free DLC or not…

Yeah, you’re exactly right, we got exactly what we were told we’d get with the pack down to the T, and absolutely nothing more. All I can say now is I’m glad I didn’t waste any money on this “game” and I feel sorry for anyone who does in the future… Could you imagine if you hadn’t played Horizon 2 yet, and used this to base whether or not you’d buy the game? I know I surely wouldn’t buy the game if I thought it’d be anything like this pack… game? demo? (I’ve no [Mod Edit] clue what to even call it) And I don’t want to call it an expansion, because I have a fond memory of expansion packs (and standalone expansions) being awesome additions to a game that offer almost as much content as came with the original game, not a cut down version with an added feature or two.

I was just hoping for the body kits and rims to be in the main game but i guess not…
