Cockpit view audio is ruined again. Last month it was having other players cars over the top of your own, now there is overbearing wind noise.
Please devs, hotifx patch this! As a wheel user I only play cockpit and I don’t want to miss out on fomo car rewards because the wind noise makes playing very annoying.

Yes, something definitely changed with Update 18. Cockpit view is barely playable now…
However, I think it’s the noise coming from tires on the asphalt, not the wind.
100% tires. If you turn it off the sound is gone. Tire sound is excessive. Unfortunately turning it down or off means not having audible tire grip indication.
I think that also the raddling is excessive. That existed since long ago though.
Occasionally getting increased wind noise on cockpit view as well here. It is not present all the time.
100% agree. The wind noise is excessive and sounds like my speakers are blown. Riding a motorcycle doesn’t even have this amount of wind noise. It’s truly a disappointing experience because it’s so unrealistic and unenjoyable.
Realising this seems related to FX sounds, as I’m getting all FX way too loud and overwhelming the engine note.
If I turn FX down though, it the engine gets softer as well.
Something is seriously weird with the sound mix.
