Sound Issues

Anyone knows how to solve these sound issues I have?

1- Since the launch of the game I cannot hear the spotter voice (the one saying 3 laps remaining, one lap to go or insights when entering the track). I play normally with headphones, when playing with speakers there was a time that I could heard that voice (only with speakers), but now I cannot hear it no matter how I play.

2- Since a couple of updates, from the cockpit view I could barely hear the engine sound of my car, the other cars around are too loud. I change the slider to 100% volume of my car and 50% volume for the rest and it seems it does not change anything. Is this a bug? How could I fix it?

That is a windows sound settings issue not a game issue. Make sure stuff like “Hands Free Audio” or something is deactivated etc.

If that doesn’t help just search for more solutions. Ppl should learn how to use search engines to fix problems themselves.

Turn off all microphones that belong to bluetooth headphones etc.

I have the EXACT same problem but in hood view. The worst car with this issue is the GT40, the one I use the most.

I’m on Series X, sound directly coming from my TV through hdmi. All the other games work like a charm so it’s not a problem of configuration from my end, either of the Series X or Samsung TV.

Try hooking your console up to a surround sound system. I agree first person sounds can be awfully quiet and lack punch but not to the level you’re describing. It gets worse through when you’re around a full grid as your car is usually the quietest which I think is very odd. I hope they tweak the audio with each update as it’s still not where it ought to be.
