Ill start like most posters, i love forza!

Since day 1 ive had these issues

1 - Audio is loud then quiet and then loud then quiet.
2 - Constant dcs from games but i can play any other game all day with no dcs

3 new - keeps asking me to press A on controller. It happened in the exact same position on road atlanta, the rise up the hill before the finish straight.

i use manual gears, no assists and manual clutch, i say this as maybe its a series of inputs causing the issues as a lot of the problems above seem happen a lot in very similar circumstances. issue 3 above was no question it could have been caused through feathered braking, manual drop down of gears feathered throttle and corrective analogue stick movement. A lot of inputs going on at once may be causing something back end to make the game do all of the above.

i hope these things can be fixed, i cant play more than 3 races without any one of these things happening, when the game quits out i just dont want to get back into it again . . its a shame, the game is really good. Just to add, not much of this happens on the PC but the game quits out way more frequently to desktop.

anyone seen a fix for any of these things which ive missed?

I had a similar issue with the volume levels dropping. The fix for me was going into Xbox settings>audio settings> then change the chat/mixer settings.

The dcs are usually down to using wireless over a wired connection. Forza multiplayer seems to struggle over wireless.

Me too…change the setting above to “do nothing”. That should fix the volume issues.

When your batteries are low in your controller hitting bumps sometimes turns it off

In regards to volume, I’ve noticed recently in league racing all sounds eventually go quiet and then come back later only to go quiet again later on. It only happens in league races. I’m wondering if it’s tied to the original issue with switching from party chat to game chat, but 90% of the time I’m not in a party, so I’m not sure.

I will add to this thread. I love Forza! And I am trying to enjoy this dud until FM8 releases (FM8 will nail it hopefully), since I have spent a lot of money on the Ultimate Edition.

I do suffer from sound issues as well. In the Pre-race screen, sound simply disappears. When the track loads, there is no sounds at all. Just menu sound effects.
