Eventlab Tips/Tricks and Suggestions To Possibly Add-on to the Current Title or Future

I had met so many talented Eventlab/Super 7 creators here lately, and wanted to add a few suggestions of my own that I believe will help better the Eventlab Community. (I am not that great at creating Eventlabs or anything of that such just a few observations) If anyone has some feedback or more suggestions that you feel should be added feel free to share. I am interested and hearing other peoples opinions and recommendations.

  1. Grouping Eventlab Parts Together (Sharing and Saving Custom Objects)

Upon talking to some people, some Eventlab builds can take 25 to 30 minutes or even longer upon creation due to having to recreate a custom object alone (not even to mention how many times it needs replicated). For example, a custom building constructed of flipping stadium pieces upside down or a custom x wing that needed to be recreated several times. So I had an idea to be able to group things together and share them almost like the vinyl system. You can save them and reuse/share them with others to borrow. Then I was trying to decide on a system so each creator gets benefits. So I thought the likes and uses section can stay for these shareable custom props except instead of yourself being the creator it can have several gamertags or a joined piece (unless its your own work) I took these ideas from Halos shareable forge creations as well as the livery system in game.

  1. Snapping pieces together

Another contrary thing people mention is objects being difficult to line up as they go to high or to low. So I think maybe snapping objects would be a neat feature that could be turned on and off as pleased.

  1. Custom Height and Custom Starting Positions

This is sort of self explanatory. The community has asked for this for a while now but, of course it may be a bit on the challenging side and perhaps has some limitations in the current title. Since the ai tends to become slightly lost when you get higher and higher.

  1. Lettering Text Box

Was mentioned to me a while ago about someone trying to build a building but it just lacked some of the more finite details. They mentioned it would be really unique if we could get lettering (sort of like the livery tool) to create custom signs and make the buildings pop more.

I really like the idea of creating a shareable custom object. Not sure how the authors of the objects being used would be given credit (written credit, not monetary credit), but it’s a fabulous concept.

Connectable props would be a huge benefit. I’ve built a pit-lane in my current build, and it was an nightmare to get it smooth enough. If we could connect edges then it would be silky smooth. Walls too, trying to line them is frustrating at times.

I’m pretty sure I hears one of the devs in a live stream saying they were looking into custom starting positions… this would be great, as long as they are not curated and added to the map randomly.

Adding text or other types of decoration to existing props and buildings… I like this!
