Some Yas Marina curbs have the feeling of being on ice and drag the car along the curb often making you go off track or spin, while some are seemingly mapped way too aggressively that the wheel floats above the curb. These curbs also have a weird property where they will accelerate your car in the correct direction of the track layout. These curbs are at T1, T7, T11-T16 on the full layout.

it is an issue indeed
This happens on PC as well, it’s not platform specific.
They’re pathetic.
Another turn 10 masterpiece
The re-profiled Turn 9 is an evenly banked turn now but in the game it has a flat bump in the middle of it for some weird reason… this was supposedly laser scanned was it not? The version in F1 23 is laser scanned and correct and I watched the Grand Prix this weekend and you can see how wrong this turn is in the game as well. Just another disappointment by Turn 10.
I don’t know if its just me but i feel like its not only the bumps. The white/blue marking on the side of the track can be oddly slippy (in dry condition of course). Or maybe its how its supposed to be? Ive no idea.
@ScoredBuffalo31 @Scubadubba6524 Thanks for calling out this issue. Yas Marina updated their track layout for the race season after our last laser scan of the track and we made updates for the FM2023 release based on newer data provided by the team at Yas. Based on this and other internal feedback, our track design team has smoothed out the bumpiness and also corrected the curbing force normals, so we expect this experience to be much more to player expectations in our next monthly release!
I’ve highlighted the kerbs (blue lines) where I experience the most issues:
These kerbs give a reaction that makes the cars want to spin. I experience this with every car I drive here, whether it’s a stock E-class car or a Forza GT, the reaction is the same.
Playing with settings like ride-height and bump stiffness have no effect on this.
Thanks for the update
