Also realized that when the tarmac disapears, some decals in the standing screen is gone:
tried doing what you have set up. starts losing assets on 2nd lap of miami track. I hope this is addressed in day 1 patch.
Either there’s a graphical bug or the car brakes that hard it demolishes the tarmac.

I don’t know if anyone else is having this issue, but parts of Laguna Seca aren’t showing up in the middle of a race. It’s essentially unplayable on that track.
Same issue, seems it’s not track specific, happening on most tracks.

FPS also goes up when assets goes missing
+1 chez moi; mais c’est une petite partie qui disparait par “portion” pas le circuit entier; les ralentisseur peuvent aussi disparaitre.
Same problem here, parts of the track & runoff randomly disappear during races.

I have now had the pleasure in two consecutive races that the track has gradually disappeared into thin air.
Before the second race I restarted FM. I had hoped that allocated memory would then be released and reallocated.
Immediately after the race, I checked to see how much video RAM was used:
After that I ran the benchmark to see how much video RAM is used according to the benchmark:
Interesting that the track in the benchmark is fully visible …
I also suspect that a memory leak is the cause of the problem.
PS: Because of not beeing able to se the track anymore, I went wide on the last corner of Grand Oak and got a time penalty! This would not have happened if I would have been able to see the god-daXn track.
Exact same issue. Ground disappeared while racing maxed out settings on everything even 200% no fix

I have Discord running all the time, and decided to turn on the Discord Overlay when playing FM.
Since I had done this, the issue has arised more often.
Then I deactivated the overlay and the game detection for Forza Motorsport in the Discord Client.
Since then:
No Disappearing of the tarmac.
But this does not mean that the issue is fixed or user error!
The Discord Overlay is essential for me, and many others!
Let alone see the name of the guy speaking to you.
We need a fix for this ASAP, THX.
I am about 90% sure this is Anisotropic filtering issue. When I started the game I set it to 16x as I don’t like blurry lines in the distance etc and first race was a mess (see my screengrab above).
After someone else mentioned it I turned it down to 4x for the next 10 races and 6ish tracks and everything was fine. Turned it up to 16x again without changing anything else and black holes after less than one lap.
Now I have settled on 8x and the track stays good but “serrated” curbs occasionally show black filtering in the distance but look fine when close. I am going to do a few more races at 8x but I think 16x is unusable.
having same issues, it happens randomly short session or after long while,systematically texutres get unloaded like game runs out of VRAM or something, textures loading with very low details if at all.

Same thing on my end, i dont have discord on but i am using Sim hub, Moza pit house while running game. Set up is: 13600K/rtx 4090/64gb system ram at 6000mhz.
Also have active HWinNFO64 (on secondary monitor) and weirdly enough GPU usage shows normally between 86-94 percent usage normally and when the disappearing textures occur, it goes down to 12 percent gpu usage (even though the game is still running normally (aside from glitch of course) needless to say it got me pretty paranoid with something wrong with my gpu…hope this helps.
Yeah this didn’t work for me. I have turned off every overlay from discord, steam, and shadowplay. Still have the same issues.
