I agree with a lot of the suggestion in the thread. I would like to see more variety in the races for the single player mode. I don’t think it need to be a production where they have to make an intro video. I think a menu with an assortment of customizable race events that are themed will work for me.
Just bring back the option to have “normal”, “long” and “longer” races like FM7 had. That way we might actually need to change tyres and refuel every so often. The AI and upgrade system need to be fixed/replaced first so until those things happen there’s no point doing anything else to fix career mode.

In the builder‘s cup are the races a bit too short from my point of view.
A normal race is about 8 mins this is for me too short to overtake drivers near my skill.
In the real Motorsport races are longer too (example: DTM 1h).
I suggest to make the distance about 20 mins, probably in the last race of a series more (about 30).
Count with drivers with skill (look at the drivatar levels) 4 or 5 to reform it.

It would be nice to have the possibility of longer race in the builder cup, like in FM7. So the use of fuel load matter and strategy with weather change matters

Totally agree with you.
It’s awful that it’s impossible to win in builder’s cup by track mastering (qualification) and strategy (tyres, fuel, stops).
It makes career not so deep as it should be.

I’ve just ran the first race in Ginetta Juniors event (at Brands Hatch GP Circuit). It was so much fun with improved AI introduced with Update 8 that I wanted it to last for far longer than 4 laps.
I hope T10 is going to restore the option to set race length in career mode soon.
Especially Open Tours need that, these races are ridiculously short…

It’s Career Mode, not online! It can be loooong.
10-15 laps per race! I’d love to know why in the world isn’t this doable??
We literally have fuel and tire, and the best place to use it is in career mode, it’s terrible online, and yet the opposite is being done!

Can we make week 3 for example a (permanent) four track 20+ lap endurance series?
I miss the longer races from Motorsport 7 thanks guys.
We still have no Endurance events in career mode.
They were some temporary races that I had no opportunity to play. Now there is only custom SP races.
Please could you add the Endurance Tour (permanently) again?
