Endurance GT hopper

Hi,

So i have been playing Forza Motorsport 7 for about 1 week now. I have been getting quite a bit better at my racing, but it seems like something changed. So i have mostly played the Endurance GT Multiplayer Hopper and when i started there was simulation damage and no requirement to make a pit stop. Now, it seems that it flipped around. I now go into the same Hopper and it says Pit Stop 0/1. So here is the scenario. I was in placed in 4th/14th place in the race, and i hit the Final Lap without pitting, this placed me back to 14th place and lost me the race. But when i was in 13th/17 Place, i noticed the people in front of me never went into the pits and they still finished in front of me.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could explain this to me as this is my first Forza Motorsport Series game and i do not know a whole lot about how these races work.

Thanks,

Koenig

If it says you need to pit you need to pit or you do get penalized
0/1 means you need to have pitted at least once

Turn 10 recently updated this hopper to where you must pit at least once and simulation damage is turned off.

Good thing is they force quick stops on tracks that don’t even have a pitlane. Auto DQ for everyone, noone on the podium after the race.

Oh no
Not again
Same thing in fm6

Thanks for the help guys!

Ok I just want to say that I really enjoy the Endurance GT Hopper, especially now that there is a compulsory pitstop.
Trying to get in a lobby where the race hasn’t started or is close to finishing showed me that it’s quite popular, sometimes more than 6 or 7 (pretty full) rooms so it has to be appreciated by the community.
Hopefully it grows and we can all move away from “2 laps of daytona in an homologated Aventador” type of thing (just disliking the length).

Give it a try and race responsibly

Agreed, the Forza gt endurance hopper is the best one one at the moment. Most players give a decent amount of respect while racing which is nice.

When u finished 13th did u pit? If u didn’t n those in front didn’t then u just hold the same positions

  • Simulation damage off is fine, but fuel/tire wear is also off now which kinda makes pit stops useless. When it was on it added an extra strategic element that made it riskier to pit too early or late in the race; but now that it makes no difference I see everyone waiting until the last 2 laps to pit.

  • Please change the starts to rolling. It was like that in FM6 and every GT series around the world does rolling starts. With static starts there’s always that one guy who sits still and causes a wreck at the start line. Plus the Lambo and Audi don’t have that launch stutter which makes them super OP off the line.

  • Laguna Seca seems to not be in the track rotation. Why?

  • A couple short ribbon tracks have no pit lane, yet the race still requires us to pit so everyone gets DQ’d at the end and the podium scene is empty. This needs to be fixed asap.

  • It might just be me but it seems like the voting system heavily favors short ribbons and rain variants. Every time we vote there’s a short track and a rain track, so we pick random and it chooses a short rain track. Also, I know that everyone just loooves Suzuka but we don’t need a variant of it in every single voting cycle.

  • Players that disconnect before the race begins do not have their cars disappear from the track, nor are they ghosted, so they are basically barriers in the middle of the track.

  • This is more of a general multiplayer thing, but the intermission time is way too short. I lose 15 seconds of it skipping through my rewards, 15 more loading into the next track, and another 10 from the menu stuttering. Also after a 30 minute race, a 1 minute interval seems a little too brief yeah? I’d like some time to breathe in-between.

^ I kinda get why this was moved here, but the subject is slightly different. I would appreciate if I could post this as a standalone topic.

Agree, simulation damage off is fair enough in a public online lobby, wasa annoying than anything else because unless you started on the front row, you basically ended up in the pits by the end of lap one due to people who can’t brake.

They should indeed bring back the tyre and fuel wear at the very least though. An yeah 2 minute interval would be nicer than just one minute. It’s a 20-30 minute race, need time to be able to choose my next car, perhaps go to the toilet, an have a drink!
