I’ve been banned for so long, I’ve just been dying to say: I love me a good game of Elimination
Seems the “mod menus” are in full effect again. I had the following happen in two Horizon Tour races and the transition between them two days ago.
Race 2: Forza Horizon 5 2023 05 08 16 52 25 - YouTube
Transition race 2 to 3: Forza Horizon 5 2023 05 08 16 56 36 - YouTube
Race 3: Forza Horizon 5 2023 05 08 16 58 33 - YouTube
As you can see the AI gets despawned right at the start of the races and the transition countdown is starting even if the two left players besides me in the tour were still behind me. A fourth car was indicated by the white arrow on the minimap but it wasn’t actually existing.
Additionally I’d say that I’ve encountered multiple players using speed and gravity multipliers again now. Some of them are playing it smart and only have them slightly upped so it only gives them a slight advantage to don’t make it too obvious that they’re cheating.
I’ve already informed the Forza Safety Team (support) about it and they know. I can just recommend that anybody coming across anything like that does the same.
Sad that they have to resort to this. No wonder I can’t get the last few Eliminator Accolades !
Actually, another thing I’ve noticed the the final races, sometimes players seem to be miles ahead as soon as the ring clears and the race starts. Anytime I go through the ring with more than a second or so to go I get eliminated immediately. How do they manage to bypass this and start the race well ahead of the actual start time ? Guess it’s yet another cheat mode that they employ to get a mighty head start without being knocked out ?
You can get about 3 seconds of head start (if you haven’t burned any time outside the ring prior to the final). Anything more than that and you’re apt to get eliminated.
Sometimes it gets an edge, but a lot of times I would have multiple people with about the same jump.
Been knocked out with less than a 3 sec start even without any timeouts. Also have had the timer showing on screen when having never once been close to any edges throughout the session.
The people I see ahead have a much bigger time gap than that based on the distances ahead. No idea how.
You must have some serious lag on your connection, cos that is one thing in Eliminator that i’ve never seen it get wrong. You have 3 secs grace or headstart if you haven’t previously been outside the zone.
A Funco for eg can easily get 300m+ ahead of you in the 4-5secs of ‘final showdown’ start graphics obscuring the screen if he’s hits the start right and you don’t
Oh really?
I got al of em when cheating was realy rampant.
Nope, you can get out at 3 seconds provided you had no time out of the ring before.
I use those 3 seconds to its fullest potential
I time it so that I already drive at a high speed when I exit the ring so in the 3 seconds that I have I can build a huge lead
No lag as far I can tell. Maybe I’m too busy looking at the road ahead to check the time properly.
Most of these times they are much further ahead than that - though I run in imperial measures so not sure about the actual distance. 300m is about 985 feet. They’re often over quarter or more like half a mile ahead.
Suddenly Eliminator feels too difficult as my Win % has dropped from respectable 21% to 12% in a month. I have gotten bored to report so many players. Enforcement team doesn’t even tell you whether the player you reported was banned or if any action was taken on them.
Today, I was in Audi RS6 (Lvl6) and got overtaken by Ford Escort (Lvl2) in straight line on the highway. I was laughing in disbelief after losing that H2H race lol.

At least they were eliminator cars hehehe (sarcasm)I have seen a game on the internet and a Skyline R34 lvl 1 won the final race.
Before at least you had options but now there are races in which some run too much…
Again got beaten by Lvl 2 Peugeot Vs my Lv5 Levente in straight line without crashing anywhere. lol
Just seen (actually didn’t see them, but did report them) someone winning a 4mile showdown in c10 seconds. I was a bit confused tbh,I thought i’d got caught by the timer as it was all over so quick.
The speedhacks have become intolerable these days. It’s depressing to see a Lvl. 3 Porsche zip past me in Lvl 9 Fiesta on a highway race. The hackers are using very small boost increments so as to let it slip under benefit of doubt or git gud disguise. Playground Games do something! I have had 7-8 final race victories snatched from me and one of them was even in a Lvl 1 Beatle.
I am officially done with Eliminator.
Yep,i’ve had a few h2h recently when i’ve thought ‘really?’
One that stands out was being outpaced by a Deberti when in a GTR.Now the Deberti is not liked, but does go quite fast,so its not impossible. If the Deberti had caught me and edged past i’d have given the benefit of doubt.
What it can’t do,and this one did,is out accelerate me from the off and pull away.
Not sure if just an oddity of last nights session, but player numbers were dropping very quickly with often 6 or 7players left with 2 rings to go,and only 3 or so for the final
Like already said. The mod-menus with their speed and gravity multipliers, teleport options and so on seem to be in full effect again.
Seen this happen a few times of late, but not so obviously as this one. Oddly, after having those few suspicions i switched cross-network off,but still got beaten by this instawin ?
EDIT: video seems to work if you right click ‘open in new tab’
Would be nice if official forum worked properly with official video storage site
