Lets start off Monday on a good note. I am working on a test tune for the Jalpa in dry weather conditions which so far is doing what I want it to do in D class. The rain version is still in development. First this was just a quick build for lobbies but later on took the time and tweaked it for some decent runs. It has ran well and quite a few tracks. I have in my shorefront a test tune for anyone that is interested in trying it out. It’s runs well on small to mid size tracks great cornering with some top end.
Evening Chef,
I wasn’t 100% sure where to try this car at, so gave it a run at a few tracks in rivals to see where I landed. I’m not the quickest and also turned off ABS yesterday for the first time - trying to get used to it, so that may have affected my times a bit (loathe to turn it back on as may not turn it off again!).
Got a couple of times in the top 1% though on fairly populated leaderboards not sure how these fair up against the sort of times you’ve been running but pretty pleased with them. Interesting car to try, bit heavy and not the greatest acceleration at slow speed but it does noticeably pick up towards the mid - top end. Show it a half decent straight and it starts to rein in those rivals.
Anyway a couple of times for you;
Sonoma Short 327th 1:30.250
Indianapolis GP 554th 1:44.721
Will keep a look out for more ECT goodness in future. Thanks for sharing
D
Finally had a chance to run this, a quick blast around alps stadplatz netted a 1:42.033 just outside the top 100, really nice job cheffrey!
No times to post yet, Chef, but this car is real nice.
Great job!
Will update the tune tonight, seems like the updated one has better handling around the corners and it won’t slide as much with off camber corners. May throw a C class tune for less weight and more power it feels like it should be in that class.
New tune is up.
