This was pointed out to me by @tdeclan336419 .The pagani in the lower right image is the same in a concept art piece from fh4 I had found earlier.. They are nearly identical; which makes me curious if alot of this piece is pieced together concept arts.
Whilst this didn’t answer your question it could be a clue to further answer this question. Fh3 canopy with fh1 font. Could this be concept art for Forza Horizon 1 possibly having a auction house originally or is this possibly concept art for Forza Horizon 3 with different fonts.
Just a theory. Would feel better if we can find the image source to fully prove this. Will keep asking around and keep digging. Hopefully we can find something. If this is concept art that is incredibly nice of them to do even more for a sort of tribute for past development. Pretty neat easter egg/secret if that is the case. Super happy this was brought up or I never would have thought about this.
Some pointless little trivia I discovered tonight.
If you see someone on a leaderboard or in a race in a Honda S2000 you will have no idea whether they’re in the ‘03 or ‘09 model as both display as ‘Honda S2000’.
Also the Minor and Mini Travellers almost share that quirk, they show as ‘Morris Traveller’ and ‘Morris Traveler’.
If you turn left into the middle billboard at Giro Encorvado drift zone, you go through the wall and can cross the track through the next wall.
It doesn’t seem to allow jumping over or on the train but you can get in the driver seat with the camera. You can jump over the blimp but I haven’t been able to land on it (yet).
Rim style upgrades for the BMW M2 ‘23, it’s stock rims are the same as the heaviest ones so all but those are essentially weight reduction, providing they don’t start with stock as the lightest it’s always a decent amount on any other car in the game, however here’s the weight they shed on the M2….
Stock/heaviest = stays the same
2nd heaviest = -1lb
2nd lightest = -2lbs
Lightest = -3lbs
Never seen that on any other car in the whole game.
Not an easter egg within the game but I found this Hagerty article from 2020 featuring a Hummer H1 with a Nissan Figaro strapped on the roof and thought it was the most Forza Horizon thing ever, especially now that the Figaro was added to the roster.
Today I discovered that there is an R-class in the game. I was doing Forzathon Daily Challenge (Reach 100 mph in any Expedition), for this I chose Baja Expedition and after completion I saw that the Drivatars were using R-class cars. I don’t know why I hadn’t noticed it before, but it was unexpected to discover it today. Why R-class instead of X-class…
Summer of Series 5 - I started the parade float race and thought “This is going to be the highlight of the season, I’ll save it for last”.
So I quit the race and returned to freeroam. Now all the traffic cars and drivatars are parade floats. Very amusing to drive around and see so many floats.
I finally broke the spell when I challenged one to a head to head race. I just couldn’t help myself. After I won, all the cars returned to normal.
