Duplicate drivatars in the same championship gives one of them the points from the other

During a championship I did earlier today I came across what seems to be a bug/glitch. In all four events in the championship a drivatar appeared two times per race (The same name appears at the top and the bottom of the leaderboard). One of them got both their points from each individual event, 81 points in total from four events while myself won all of the events and ended up with 80 points.

Yep. There’s at least one thread on this already. I think it’s in the support forum. This worked for me: Exit the race, exit the game (via the Home button, on the Xbox–I imagine it’s Alt-F4 on the PC), relaunch, drive back to the interrupted race. Double-drivatar was gone for me.

This only seemed to happen to me when I was changing the difficulty within the menu at the event (before starting the race). I’m guessing that’s what can trigger the bug.
