There’s a guaranteed progress option for stories. I would expect this to ensure the Mach-e for anyone who is just interested in the car but not necessarily the weekly points.
If I had OCD I would use a controller, and not a wheel. Using a wheel gives me OCD straight away.

I don’t think so. It guarantees progress but not the requirement of full 3 Star on all chapters.

Using a controller just makes it worse for me. too many buttons on the fingers and nothing to use for my feet.
Yes but you say you spin out, so it seems that the wheel is worse. I span out when I tried the wheel in FH4.

If I was wiser I’d avoid issues that trigger my OCD… like games that have collectibles 
…but then what would I do for “fun” lol.
In FH4 I could get the wheel down to a more controller feel by dropping the rotation angle to about 270 degrees so that was OK - no chance for that in FH5.
You only actually need 1 star in the last chapter to get the car. And somewhere in the settings you can select to progress through the story with out actually getting any stars in the chapters.
Only 1 Star in the final chapter ? Really ? So… the challenge is broken 
…of course, I still want 3 Stars completion, because, lol. Great news for many if so though !
It’s not really about the car but more about the weekly completion.
Never seen anything about progressing through stories though. What’s that ?

Maybe its as intended, just so everyone can stand a chance of getting the car, that’s the way I see it anyway.

I think its in the accessibility settings somewhere.

Dave might be beating me to this but, under Settings : Accessibility : Story Progress (near middle)… change it to Guaranteed.

I think it’s new… ish.
Its all part of the inclusivity agenda along with the auto steer and assisted braking, good in a sense that they want to encourage everyone to play games.

You just agreed with me. It gets the car but not the weekly points.
Thanks - I use Manual gears, Simulation Steering and braking on Anti Lock off but that change of setting at least let me unlock the next chapter! Cheers to both for the info.
