Does anybody already know a good place on the FH5-map to grind skill points for car masteries fast? Like the dunes at Bamburgh Castle in FH4. Which car would you recommend so far (in FH4 I used the Renault 5 Turbo)?
The whole map is pretty good. I usually use the Ford Racing Puma FE and go crazy. I usually do it on the way to stuff like stunts and boards etc.
I have to kindly disagree with the whole map being good.
A lot of areas have sudden rocks or things that can break skill chains.
I have had some decent luck on the border of the dunes/desert in the west and the cactus fields (the occasional smacktus, bit of drifing etc) but I am sure there must be a better place.

I haven’t tried much yet but I was thinking the agave fields would work similar to the flower fields in Lego.
Edit: not much to hit but they don’t count towards wreckage… .
Do it on the beach just NW of Horizon Apex. It has slight elevation drop which gives you air points and you can drift pretty long while also having tons of things to wreck. Bring a powerful S1 vehicle preferably anything AWD also.
I’ve tried a couple different combo’s and I’ve come to this one,
Get the FE MB racing truck and spec out the mastery tree, remember to max the power and adjust the diff to like 70% power to the rear. Drift around the stadium and smash as much stuff going sideways, only thing to watch out for are the parked trailers. Any field with small trees and fences will work too but I prefer the stadium because I’ve got a better view what’s coming.
I think I get about 10 points every 5 minutes, maybe even faster.
I’ve been using the Hoonigan R200 with Don Joewon Song’s S2 tune in the dunes and desert area. Can rack up points really quickly, especially when a Skill Song is on the radio.
Looks like it’s one of the best cars for this again.
X7 multplier is big help.

Just find a fast AWD car, max out it’s skill point tree and find an open field to bounce and drift around. Same strat as Horizon 4 really.
Maxed out drift car, awd just so it’s a little faster with all skills bought on the abandoned 1 mile runway.
No AI to hit you since who knows how long the game will stay connected atm and you can use the drag race start to instantly bank the points as you go back up and down the runway.
When in doubt - go for the beaches. I did my biggest chain in the West - Southwest sand dunes, and then there’s the East beach as well. Can’t go wrong with dunes.
I just got a stock formula drift car that I’ve been using as my freeroam car to get between events. Fully mastered, it just spits out skill points. I’m sure I could make it better and find more ideal locations but I’m hardly seeing the need.
I know they’re very expensive though, so dealer’s choice. Luckily for me, many are free with premium.
I’ve had a lot of luck with the Toyota Baja truck barn find. With a decent tune and the mastery tree filled, just ripping it around an area heavy with cacti piles up the points. And it’s fun to drive.

If you have not done it yet, the ‘Vorcha’ storyline has a piece that gives an ideal location for grabbing skill score.
It might be a bit boring just going on a long circuit, but it’s definitely worth throwing your skill scoring motor around 
South of map between the southern highway and the orange road shaped like a W. Drift and smash banana trees. Fast travel away and back again and repeat.
I really don’t have problems losing too many chains anywhere, but I’m at the Baja Cross Country circuit in Dunas Blancas right now and there’s lots of stuff to drift around and hit and not too many obstacles.
53 Corvette FE is the best hands down

I was just going cross country and was going through a field of small trees. It’s between the Cordillera speed zone and Autopista speed trap just North of the freeway. Might be worth trying out.
