Do you require a XBox Live account to play Forza Horizon 4 on pc?

I have the recommended requirements for my pc and I have a Xbox One controller.

Yes you need a Microsoft account…otherwise you cant play it…
You dont need a gold account though on pc

So you only need a Microsoft account, I thought you had to buy some kind of XBox Live account to play online games for Xbox and perhaps pc. Thanks for awnsering so I just have to pay the game and I can play?

You do not need an Xbox Live account to play on PC.
You DO need an Xbox Live account to play on Xbox.

Nope, you don’t need to deal with any Xbox stuff at all in order to play this on PC. Just Microsoft Account + PC that meets at least minimum requirements and you are golden.
