Over the last couple of weeks I’ve worked on loads of muscle car tunes in B class for Road America and they’re huge fun to race in lobbies whilst being easy to drive too!
I had thought about sharing them but as they’re around 2secs a lap off the pace and most players seem to be obsessed with tunes that are in the top 100 of any leaderboard I’m not sure its worth bothering.
So I’m wondering if there is a market for “fun” tunes or are we all mad for winning and leaderboard times??
I am a NEWB to the driving game but I am working my way up there slowly to Average!.. But I like to take the undercars the ones that no one else is using and try to use those… So you would be shocked if you put it out there who would download it… And I would give them a try if you wanted… although I normally stick to the C Class lobbies…
2 seconds slower in whose hands? Plenty of LB cars are more than 2 seconds slower when mere mortals are at the wheel. There’s always a market for a well tuned car, whether it’s the current LB darling or not. In fact, I’d say non-LB cars are the best sellers historically.
You should share them, non LB cars are the ones I drive the most. In MP lobbies I have never driven a X-bow but I had races with a lot of other A class cars with great results. Moreover I also have racing series with some friends and we usually don’t drive LB cars, for example one of the latest races was on Road Atlanta with the Clio v6 with a tune that I took from one of the topics in this section.
I would share them if I were you. Just put them out there and if people like them they like them and if not, well then they don’t. I also think a lot of it comes down to which cars you share. People like certain cars for their own reasons and will drive them no matter what the car can or can’t do. I think most people just want a competitive car for the lobbies. I usually tend to lean that way.
As far as leaderboard cars go, I really don’t care what other people drive in the lobbies. I mean, why should they not be able to drive what they want? There are no rules stating you can’t drive cars at the top of the leaderboards. It’s just a game. Most peeps in the lobbies drive leaderboard cars because they aren’t really that good at driving so they need every advantage they can get. We’re all full of opinions.
Yes i think its still too early for alot of people they are still focused on setting new times, testing cars, tracks, etc etc…
Prob give it a few more months and everyone will be lobby racing like the good old days on forza 4…
But yeah if you got any decent tunes just let me know and i will give em a blast as i prefer lobby to leaderboards, 5 laps and i lose the will to live lol…
All i need to do now is get back from working away then i can get back into the swing of things…Forza addiction lol…
