Do drivatars have tire warmers?

That question is kind of a joke. But I can’t be the only one that notices on the first lap of doing free play races, even in identically equipped cars, the drivatars seem to be able to take corners at speeds that are impossible. After the first lap, once my tires are warm, I can keep up with them or pass them. But that first lap is a bit ridiculous watching them take corners sometimes 8 or 10 miles an hour faster than me.

It’s just because the AI have assists on like ABS, TSC, STM etc etc. That negates cold tires a lot.

I dont want this too. Why we can not deaktivate assists of the drivatars?

They do you assists though, you can tell through the replay system. You can here things like TCS & such kicking in out of corners just like the player. That’s how it was in the older titles anyway, whether it’s the same now who knows & replays aren’t exactly reliable but I wouldn’t imagine the sounds & such would be there without the effect. This of course is only in effect when the AI are within a certain boundary to the player. When they go past that boundary, like many racing titles, the AI

Doubtful. If it’s an illusion then it’s the best illusion I’ve ever seen. The AI are simplified compared to the player, that’s obvious, but some traits still remain.

There are no such thing as “tires” or “temperarture” in the AIs world, its all digits or numbers wich the gamemakers are free to manipulate. We all know how the AIs are boosted up, specially on some tracks. We can be shure that moore hps isn`t the only way to cheat

What level do you have the AI set at? I usually have them set at above average. Depending on the track and car even with identical cars I can get a great start and blow through the field. Some cars I struggle with and it can take longer. Usually by lap 5 I am at the front if not the lead. I usually set 10 lap races.
