I bought FM6 Ten Year Anniversary Edition disc including 10 year anniversary car pack for xbox one. Other support forums have described that it is in buy cars under the free tab or if not there then download from add-ons in manage game. There is no free cars tab and when I go to manage game for Forza there are no add-ons. That button isn’t even showing. Nothing there. This game is just two days old and otherwise has been a lot of fun so far. I’m just trying to figure out how to get to the car pack.
I got got the 10 year anniversary pack with my forza 6 Ltd edition xbox one if you search in the store for the pack it shows as installed, if you look for the pack in the game it says installed but my cars are not showing up either.
have either of you hard reset your console properly since installing
hard resetting helps with a lot of issues with the xbone
I have the same problem. 10 year pack shows in Marketplace, but nowhere else. The cars are NOT in the free tab. I have done a few hard resets, and tried a resinatall.
have you checked that they aren’t already in your garage as well
with the hard reset did you pull out the power plug from the wall until the light on the power supply has gone off
did you just reinstall the 10 year pack or the whole game …also check it has completely reinstalled
here’s a rundown of properly hard resetting shared by Snowowl
Sometimes things just don’t fall in place without a proper hard reset of the console to get everything registered properly:
1 – from the Dashboard, out of all games, hold the X button on the front of the console down until it shuts the system down.
2 – Disconnect the external power from the wall plug (or at least disconnect the wall-side connector on the power pack itself).
3 – WAIT until all power drains from the external power pack (no light, either white or dull orange showing on the pack).
4 – Reconnect the power supply to the electrical outlet.
5 – Restart the console in the usual manner, i.e., either with the controller or a short push on the X button on the front of the X1.
6 – WAIT until the console self-checks and fully boots to the Dashboard before attempting anything.
If you don’t disconnect the external power pack and let the power completely drain out, the system is still retaining “old” stuff and not resetting.
Sign into Xbox Live and attempt to launch the game again. If it starts to sync DO NOT INTERRUPT IT or do anything else on the console until it fully completes. As for the Forza Hub, it “usually” updates properly on Fridays every week, so play the game and check again at the end of the week.

Hope everyone had a good xmas, I bought the same pack and have been pulling my Hair out too for two days, after talking to 5 Microsoft techies, and resting my machine 10 times I gave up as they are not understating me and don’t listen, it defiantly not hardware its down to software!
Now I posted in the Horizon 2 forum not seeing your posts and have just come across your now, a kind member has told me something quite shocking which maybe true and would explain why none of us have cars!! I hope its not as its not sold on the MS store on this basis but here is his post reply.

Basically I think he means that the pack is only an access pack and then you have to buy the cars again in game!! which if true is shocking in my opinion.
This was the case until part way through the DLC of FM5 in fact (so all the way through FM2, FM3, FM4 and FH), and is far from an issue - especially on this pack which does not have a single expensive car in it.
Strangely people don’t complain about paying for the game (so access to the cars on the disc) which then require you to use in game credits to buy them in game.
Wow, It is shocked!!! I have the same symptom after installing 10 year Anniversary pack. I can’t buy one of the car for free.
Wow… I can only see the car and should buy the cars with game credit! Ridiculous!!

I figured out my issue and I am posting in case anyone else can use this. I noticed on the disc box it said there was a card included in the package to download the car packs. That card got mixed up with all of the other packaging we had at Christmas. I did find the card with the QR code and the anniversary car pack installed perfectly. They all loaded up in the Buy Cars section as free cars. So I just had to go in and get the 10 free cars for no cost and now I’ve got them.
